Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

JBL Live 650BTNC

(1/4)

Bill Callahan's "Drover," a track with far less deep bass in the mix, gives us a better sense of the Live 650BTNC's general sound signature. The drums on this track get a solid bass boost, adding some thump and depth to the mix, without going overboard into thunderous territory, though the EQ can certainly take things there. We would prefer a bit more high-mid presence in the default setting—the edge of Callahan's voice seems slightly dulled, as does the attack of the acoustic guitar strums. The sound signature isn't muffled, it's just slightly less crisp than we'd prefer, but again, this is easily remedied in the app's EQ

Battery Life

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

This is the third Corsair product I've encountered issues with, either within a very short amount of time using or out of the box. The wireless function of the headset is nice and convenient, the headset is comfortable, and the audio quality is good AFTER installing iCUE and setting your preferences. The battery life is abysmal. My product had issues out of the box, where it will not charge beyond 78% regardless of how long it is charging, and the battery drains at what seems like a very quick pace (two hours and half that 78% charge is gone)

Price Point

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

These are not worth the price at all. I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here

JBL Live 650BTNC

This is my second pair. My dog ate the first ones, and I loved them so much I bought another. For the value, these cannot be beat. Great sound quality, noise cancelling, and work for gaming/phone calls

Comfort

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

JBL Live 650BTNC

(1/1)

Available in black, blue, or white models, the Live 650BTNC headphones feature a sporty cloth-lined headband with ample cushioning, as well as large memory foam earpads that fully envelop the ear. In fact, the circumaural (over-ear) design eliminates plenty of ambient noise passively, before the active noise cancellation (ANC) has even been engaged. The fit is secure and comfortable over long listening periods.

Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

JBL Live 650BTNC

The JBL Live 650BTNC headphones deliver powerful audio performance and average noise cancellation in a wireless design that also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
