JBL Live 660NC

Switching from one Bluetooth device to another never worked for me. This is one of the main reasons I bought this. I'm not sure if the issue was with the switching button which is not easy to put a finger on (unless of course you have very pointy fingertips) 4. They are very large and clunky

Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

Last but not least, the “Active Noise Canceling” feature. Honestly for the original MSRP of $199 I grantee you it isn’t worth it. Save up a bit more and get yourself the top of the line, skip these. EDIT: I’ve shared a few screen shot settings for anyone willing to enhance the sound of these headphones

Fit

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

JBL Live 660NC

I like that it includes a wired port and cable to use when you don't want bluetooth connectivity. It's easy to pair with my computer and iPad. Switching between them is easy. The fit is lightweight easy on the ears

It’s definitely made for your typical everyday user. Audiophiles stay away these aren’t for you. Last but not least, the “Active Noise Canceling” feature. Honestly for the original MSRP of $199 I grantee you it isn’t worth it

Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

Can’t really complain. Ok now, the sound it’s definitely JBL’s signature sound. “Neutral” it definitely needs a bit of tuning through the app to get it just right. At low volume these sounds so dire, at high volumes as always it’s a JBL thing louder is better but high’s sounds so thin

Price Point

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

These are not worth the price at all. I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here

Value 5/5 Everything you get for this price and the features in these headphones will keep you out of the headphone market for a good while and provide you longevity for the future and updates with the JBL app that will give it access to new features or upgrades it gets in the future.

Battery Life

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

This is the third Corsair product I've encountered issues with, either within a very short amount of time using or out of the box. The wireless function of the headset is nice and convenient, the headset is comfortable, and the audio quality is good AFTER installing iCUE and setting your preferences. The battery life is abysmal. My product had issues out of the box, where it will not charge beyond 78% regardless of how long it is charging, and the battery drains at what seems like a very quick pace (two hours and half that 78% charge is gone)

8. A button combination for hearing how much battery is left, to make this function really better than for example Sony, maybe not an approximate number could be given, but an exact number.

Durability

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

listeners. Helps Also they come with Carrying Case for the Gym! The ear muffs are leather and they are not plastic like and seem like they really put good work and quality in them I am impressed. The battery has lasted me for almost 5 days after full charge from using them at the gym and I work out for about 1 to 2 hours. So the standby time and active time cannot be beat after 10 hours of active time and over 5 days of standby time
