I'm looking to buy the beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro, and basically, I'm wondering if the Magni & Modi stack by Schiit would even be worth it? My knowledge of the audiophile world is very limited. So I appreciate any guidance. I don't want to spend the money on this headphone amp and DAC if I won't be able to hear a difference with this high-quality motherboard. So any knowledgeable input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I bought a **Corsair VOID Pro RGB Wireless** headset a year ago. Good sound quality, but I had the same problem with it, that I have now with the **Corsair VOID Elite**.

When I downloaded the iCue, a very annoying white noise appeared. Only when there's sound playing, and only when iCue is downloaded. For some reason it doesn't apply to the narrator (Mic off, mic on, etc..).

When I searched up this on Google a year ago with my VOID Pro, i got more than 10 pages of the same question, none answered by the support team (including mine). I use Win10. What's the issue?

(I already posted it on the Corsair Forum 1 year ago, 9 months ago, 6 months ago, and now. On the Corsair subreddit 6 months ago. Got no replies, neither from Corsair Support, nor the community there. Can anyone help me out?)

Also: If I take down the sound in Windows to 10, and listen to music on Youtube with 100%, then it's perfect. Though I payed a lot for this and the other headphones, and I expect something better for this money.

So far I have owned 2 Razer Krakens and my first one literally fell apart, one of the head size adjusters just completely fell out and is just being held together by the cord. My other one is beginning to loosen and I fear it's about to meet the same fate, is it possible to tighten these up so they won't fall out?

The 3.5 mm plug on my phone has become loose. The left audio channel is completely muted unless i hold the phone in veryyy specific angles and apply just the right amount of force on the connector. xD. I was wondering if I could have that repaired in a service shop or is it like a permanent component of most phones. I have tried plugging my headphones into other devices and it works perfectly. My phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.

Popping/ stactic sound in wireless heaphones:

So I recently got some jbl wireless headphones. They've been working well, expect when theres the silence when the track I'm listening to has finshed and the next one is about to play theres this sort of static popping sound ( I'm not really sure how to describe it ) that you hear before the next track plays. You also hear the pop when a youtube video finshes and sometimes randomly throughout the video if theres silence. Also during that silence before the pop sound it sounds static in the background. You can also hear static if you have the headphones on without playing any audio then eventually you hear a pop and the static goes away. This seemed to start happening when I got samsung sound assistant and lowered the volume on my music app because the heaphones were too loud for me even on the lowest volume. So maybe the popping/static sound was always there but when the heaphones were louder you couldn't hear it? But that's only a guess and I'm not really sure. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks for reading.

So i need one that can i wear Multiple hours (up to 8h). If i only need other pads to mkkae this comfort., can u tell me wich one?

Budget - At the moment max 120-130. 

Source - On my PC (a new one, no soundcard, if req i will upgrade \*thinks\* i need in the next months)

It should be good Isolated, when i hear music, i only want to hear it x) 

I use this only at home and should be full sized (like my headset).

Preferred tonal balance - Cant rly tell, balanced sounds good but it can have more bass since i hear most Techno/Trance. But i also hear Rock and Metal so it should be good for this types of Music.

Past headphones - Not rly Headphones, a Headset is what i use \*HyperX Cloud Alpha 2\*, want to switch to Headphones since i hear more music. But i liked it, i can wear it the whole day and doesnt notice it. Thats rly important for me.

Hi, thanks for looking at my question. It's a small problem, but i didn't found anything like this on the internet.   


In a room of my apartment, when they are plugged in, my headphones make a soft "flapflapfalp" sound, kinda like the blades of a small fan were hitting something soft. I've never heard this noise anywhere else.

The headphones are Audio Technica ATH-M30x. There's a fire detector and a motion sensor light in this room, but i'm not sure how they could be causing this problem, if that's what causing it.

The noise is not audible when i play music, but i'm intrigued, and slightly afraid it could damage the headphones

I also have the Samsung Galaxy Buds (In-ear); they lack detail and the bass isn't enough, but I guess that's what you get with earbuds.
* **Preferred Music** \- Pop (I mostly listen to Taylor Swift-like pop music and blackbear.), Hip-hop/Rap (Post Malone), Pop rock (ABBA, Coldplay), Synth-pop, Dance-pop, Indie, and a little of old rock music (The Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd... etc.). I basically dislike rap and metal music. Sorry if this was unnecessary lol, just trying to get the best pair of headphones for the money.

I'm looking for budget wireless earphones for working out, including lifting, running, and jumping. I have a pair of these (https://www.amazon.com/LETSCOM-Headphones-Waterproof-Sweatproof-Cancelling/dp/B07DXQTCQ), but the cable always gets caught on my neck when I turn my head, so I'm thinking of getting true wireless ones. They also fall out during more vigorous exercise and the over-ear hooks are not snug.

I'm thinking of getting the JBuds Air Icon or JBuds Air, but I'm curious if you think that getting the over-ear hooks (JBuds Air Sport) are worth it to keep from falling out, or if the cheaper ones tend to stay in just fine.

I'm also open to other options.

I just recently tried the beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro (saw quite a bit of hype) and really did not enjoy them, returned the same day.  They just made my music unenjoyable... And felt hallow, lifeless and unexciting (if that mnakes sense) thought it had some good detail in certin areas. But they were straining to use (Audibly, they were quite comfortable physically)  


Mainly going to use for music use but do game sometime (No console, so no worries about impedance), but I'm pretty sure if they're a good set the application wont matter

Can I set up a multipoint connection for my bluetooth headphones to play audio from two devices at once?

Normally if I connect my Sony WH-CH710N headphones to both my computer and my phone, the computer can play all audio through the headphones but the phone only allows calls. Is there any way to allow, for instance, Discord's audio to come through my computer and Spotify through my phone?

Steel Series Arctis 7 is what I bought. 

I have zero clue on how to setup the frequency dials to optimize the sound quality in my headset. I game in COD:Warzone and the sound of footsteps is very important in recognizing if an enemy is near. Unfortunately, I have no idea where to begin to adjust the dials or any other options offer by the software.

I'm clueless when it comes to sound and adjustments, but I do know I don't want to go deaf because I was blasting the volume just to hear footsteps in a game. I'm quite competitive and I'd like to get that much more competitive by fixing the sound. The only sounds I hear clearly in the game are shots fired, the airplane and the parachuting. 

Did I buy the best headset at the price range? (~$150) 

Can you give advice on adjusting the options to get the best use of my current headset?
