JLab Audio JBuds Air

(1/1)

After reading a few comments on their customer support videos that they kindly (and promptly) send out when you contact them, I see that I am not alone with these connectivity issues. I will wait it out until JLab comes out with a second iteration of these that have less kinks. I emailed JLab forgetting that I purchased through Amazon and could just refund my purchase online; they responded with the previously mentioned YouTube video about pairing your device. When I replied that this method was not the underlying issue, and the left earbud was unresponsive, they sent back a thoughtful email to give them a call and find out what was wrong

Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

JLab Audio JBuds Air

There's really no need—both Signature and Balanced modes deliver a solid listening experience with plenty of bass depth, whereas Bass Boost sounds not only unnatural, but muffled.

Battery Life

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

This is the third Corsair product I've encountered issues with, either within a very short amount of time using or out of the box. The wireless function of the headset is nice and convenient, the headset is comfortable, and the audio quality is good AFTER installing iCUE and setting your preferences. The battery life is abysmal. My product had issues out of the box, where it will not charge beyond 78% regardless of how long it is charging, and the battery drains at what seems like a very quick pace (two hours and half that 78% charge is gone)

JLab Audio JBuds Air

The best buds I've ever used with great battery life was the Jlab jbuds air anc. It seemed like I had them in my ears forever. Those and anything Tozo. They're another brand with fantastic battery life

Durability

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

JLab Audio JBuds Air

(1/2)

Let me start with the good, I love them, they charge quick (when working), fit well, are comfortable and I absolutely loved that they have their own cord to charge attached to the case so no extra part is needed. My first pair lasted about 8 mo before they would no longer recharge. Admittedly, I used them a lot, but 8 mo? I left a review on the store site where I bought those and they promtpy sent me a link to send for warranty. I was impressed with that & started the process

Price Point

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

These are not worth the price at all. I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here

JLab Audio JBuds Air

(1/1)

If true wireless earbuds ushered in a new era of wireless audio, they also raised the bar on pricing. Thus far, the best pairs have been quite expensive, to the tune of $150 and up. Thus, the $50 JLab JBuds Air earbuds are easy to get excited about based on price alone. Sonically, they offer above-average audio quality with boosted lows that will appeal to bass lovers

Fit

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

JLab Audio JBuds Air

I have Apple AirPods which I think are great but I am one of those people who have large ear canals or something. They don't fit all that well and I was tired of them falling out so I needed an alternative. Here is a comparison to AirPods. 1

Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

JLab Audio JBuds Air

I use either Bose Quiet Comfort II or JLab Audio when I dont want full ear coverage. Bose slightly better at noise canceling and sound, but the JLab stuff is pretty solid with better price tag.
