Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset

(1/1)

I have been hesitant to try most wireless pc headsets as my bluetooth on my motherboard (i7 4770) is sketchy, at best. That said, I read reviews on this and several other wireless chat-ready headsets, and the quality of the build, the fit (I go 6'2" with a good sized head), the sound and the EASE of hookup/use were why I chose this headset. So far (about 6 weeks)- GOOD choice. They are well built, have great sound (even for music), the chat microphone sounds clear (or so I'm told), they fit/put away well - and they worked RIGHT out of the box (Windows 10)

Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset

(1/5)

This one definitely gets the highs right and sounds much cleaner with a tight low end. It boasts 7.1 surround and am a skeptic on headsets which claim to be surround as you only have two drivers. But after listening to the sample file included in the setup, it's pretty incredible

Battery Life

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

This is the third Corsair product I've encountered issues with, either within a very short amount of time using or out of the box. The wireless function of the headset is nice and convenient, the headset is comfortable, and the audio quality is good AFTER installing iCUE and setting your preferences. The battery life is abysmal. My product had issues out of the box, where it will not charge beyond 78% regardless of how long it is charging, and the battery drains at what seems like a very quick pace (two hours and half that 78% charge is gone)

Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset

(1/1)

To keep it short, I think the G533 is better than than the G930 in every conceivable way. The battery life is better. I do get 16 hours from it out of a full charge. I also think they are more comfortable than the G930 although that will come down to personal preference due to the different materials used

Durability

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset

To get the most honest review, I had my daughter's video gamer boyfriend test these out. He said the sound quality is excellent. Seem durable but only time will tell. He has already recommended them to his video gamer friends and they are a definite upgrade from his previous headphones

Fit

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset

(1/1)

The Logitech G533 is a comfortable PC gaming headset that pales in comparison with its pricier sibling, the G933 Artemis. It lacks the G933's high-frequency finesse and flexible, wired connection options, two of its most appealing aspects. What's left is a bass-heavy headset designed only for PCs. It's perfectly fine for what it is, but you're better off spending $50 more on the G933

Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset

The earpads and the padding under the headband are fabric-covered foam. The padding isn't very thick compared with the Turtle Beach Elite Pro Tournament Headset, but there's just enough material to let the headset comfortably rest around your head, and the fabric ensures your ears and scalp can breathe. The earpads are nice and large, completely surrounding your ears without touching them. It's a light fit you can wear for hours without issue

Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

Logitech G533 Wireless Gaming Headset

Incoming sound quality is good. I'd rate it as just slightly lower than my (upgraded) computer speakers. The slight downgrade of raw sound quality is made up for by the way the headset dampens other, unwanted noise from the rest of the house.
