Marshall Monitor II ANC

(1/1)

The short answer is probably not. While it certainly sounds good and its compact size may appeal to certain buyers, it's priced too high at $270. Yes, that's less than the Bose and Sony -- but it's not significant enough. However, with the Marshall Mid Bluetooth showing up online for less than $100, I expect we'll see some discounts on the Mid ANC in the coming months

Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

Marshall Monitor II ANC

The Marshall app for Android and iOS has a settings section that allows you to assign a control to the M button—it can either toggle between EQ presets or summon your phone's voice assistant. The ANC section allows you to adjust adjust the level of the noise cancellation with a slider, or turn it off. You can also switch over to Monitor mode, and there's a slider for that, as well. A timer setting lets you choose when the headphones, rather than the length of time the headphones can remain inactive before powering off

Comfort

Corsair Void RGB Elite

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

Marshall Monitor II ANC

(1/2)

The circumaural (over-ear) Monitor II ANC headphones have a black design with leather grain texture on the outer earcup panels and top of the headband, along with the familair Marshall amps logo. The earpads are heavily cushioned with memory foam, and the cups swivel for a comfortable fit that feels light even during long listening sessions.

Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

Marshall Monitor II ANC

On Jay-Z and Kanye West's "No Church in the Wild," the kick drum loop receives an ideal high-mid presence, allowing its attack to retain its punchiness, while the vinyl crackle and hiss takes a step forward in the mix. The sub-bass synth hits that punctuate the beat are delivered with enough deep bass presence to provide a sense of their power, but the sub-bass doesn't overwhelm the mix as it can with seriously boosted headphones. The vocals on this track are delivered with excellent high-mid clarity and detail—there is some slight added sibilance, but nothing that upsets the mix.

Price Point

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

These are not worth the price at all. I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here

Marshall Monitor II ANC

(1/1)

For a lower price we'd be bigger fans, but for $320, these headphones don't quite deliver the premium experience they're priced for. The aforementioned Apple AirBuds Pro and Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 remain our current favorite ANC earphones/headphones, while Marshall's $200 Mid ANC are worth checking out if you're looking to spend less.

Durability

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

Marshall Monitor II ANC

(1/1)

One of the tracks we test the bass with is Alt-J's "3WW." With some headphones the bass from that track tends to come off sounding boomy. But the Marshall Mid's bass held together nicely and was well defined.I compared the Marshall Mid ANC to the best two overall noise-canceling models, the Sony WH-1000XM2 and Bose QuietComfort 35 II
