Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

This time the right channel made a soft pop. Now the earphone that I do have barely gets to a listenable level at full volume on my phone and has the same tinny-ness as the left. The quality control of these units is awful and the process of getting anything about it fixed at all is more of a hastle and wait than I am willing to go through again (keep in mind it's been three months since I've recieved the headphones and not only are neither working properly anymore, but half of that time was spent with only one earphone anyway).

Durability

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

Sound Quality: Mostly neutral, slightly warm but you still get plenty of mid and treble detail and sparkle while never being painful. Bass is present but these are not for bass-heads. It's got thump when needed but it's not going to blow your head up with bass. Voices are clear and forward but not in any extreme way

Price Point

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

These are not worth the price at all. I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. Very Clean with a real nice clarity to them. It’s definitely balanced over all, nothing is trying to out do the other frequencies, though there is a little lift in the bass and in the treble region, the mid range seems pretty level and maybe a pinch upper mid lift as well, as the vocals come in nicely as well with no recess. For me, this isn’t my favorite tuning, but I will say the tuning is done pretty excellent for what they went after, and add the price in, these are a bargain without a doubt, though I do like the Starfields a touch better, though they’re almost identical, I like the color and shape of the Starfield, and I think the Soundstage is just a smudge larger and more precise, which with them I can really get lost with my eyes close pinpointing where the sounds are, not that these can’t, they can, just slightly less, but factor in the cost, you can’t go wrong with these. I do get a craving for more bass with these, as it just seems not enough, though I do get a natural feel to the sounds with them, in though when I listen to Classical Rock, such as AC/DC “Thunderstruck”, the guitar comes in nicely with the vocals, and then the drums kick in, all is clear and clean, I just feel like I want more Mmmmph! to it, some more meat, as it sounds a little lean, even though everything comes in nicely

Fit

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

The fit is rather nice and the cables have a sheath over the hook parts so they will hold their shape, but are rather flexible. Even though the monitors are made of metal, they don't feel all too heavy since they insert nicely into the ear canal and can sit nearly flush with your ears. Like I said before, the cable can be bothersome with its cable noise, but when the music is blasting it's barely noticeable. The sound

Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend
