Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

Philips SHP9500

**What would you like to improve on from your set-up** \- I would like the new set to get rid of all the distortion and computer-like ringing and hissing that occurs at low volume with the KZ ZSN Pro's that you typically only hear in a silent room. Not sure if this can be done by some other means, but any tips and suggestions are appreciated.

Fit

Corsair Void RGB Elite

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

Philips SHP9500

(1/2)

I'm looking for some good and comfy in ear headphones on the cheap. I have trouble sleeping sometimes and so I listen to ASMR and audio books and the standard old cheapo headphones that came with my Galaxy S5 finally died on me. I recently picked up some KZ ZSN Pro X's recently, and while they're really good for listening to music when outside and stuff like that, I noticed there's a lot of distortion and hissing when I'm in a dead silent room trying to listen to ASMR type noises on a low volume to try and fall asleep. Pretty bummed about it so I'm looking for another set of in-ears strictly for ASMR pretty much

Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

**Preferred tonal balance** \- I suppose balanced would be preferred so that I can hear all sorts of noises. It's for ASMR and audio books so some headphones that are really good with vocals and higher pitched notes, bell sounds, wave sounds, rain, etc. would be good.

Price Point

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

These are not worth the price at all. I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here

Durability

Corsair Void RGB Elite

I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

Philips SHP9500

(1/1)

I've tried more sturdy but the most sturdy I've owned are the Philips SHP9500. No creaking or squeaking it feels like one solid piece even though it's an assembly.
