Ive been happy in the past with CRKT, but not with this knife. I wanted a folder with wood handles so i opted for this one. Unhappy with it overall. Very heavy compared to many other knives of the same size; feels like a toddler constantly tugging at your pocket

G10 scales would have been lighter, which she does complain about the weight, even with the small Pilar, but the aesthetics overcomes the weight for her. However, the small Pilar doesn't come with G10, or seemly does not. The stainless scales are fine also, since we mostly find ourselves needing a knife in wet environments. Go figure

- Next on the WTH inventory for this knife, are the wood scales on the handle. Each scale is nice lookin’ piece of wood but they don’t match between the two sides. Not at all… Almost like the burled wood came from two different species of tree or something.

The handle has nicely rounded edges. But it's heavy for the size and thick. My problem is - what is it for? For an EDC in the office (wearing thinner dress pants), the size is perfect but it's pretty thick and heavy. You will be very aware of it and it's pretty visible through dress pants
