 Uh, almost all of those. um, they're gonna sound good enough. You're not going to get flagship quality audio performance. but again, and I don't think the goal with with these types of Dacs is flagship audio performance

 They're wanting to make sure you're going to have a a good audio experience, but but primarily the the goal of these is convenience and affordability. Um, and that's exactly. That's really what you have to look out for. Does it sound good enough and does it offer all of the features that I'm looking for within whatever my budget is? One thing I did notice with this and I think this is something I noticed

 Uh, it has kind of a similar you know approach. the design just like your typical modern flagship phone. So and it does have a little bit of weight to it, but it feels just sturdy. It feels very well built

Review of the new Fiio BTR5 2021. Still one of my favorites!

5mm input, to (100mw)! Can increase even further up to (220mw) which is impressive for its size!  2) Bluetooth Connects with my iPhone 8 and MacBook Pro pretty seamlessly!  3) Uses aptX format through Tidal  4) Long battery life and can be charged on the go when connected via usb to power pack!  5) Great size! So convenient to carry around and makes handling my phone so much easier without the earbuds cord attached!  6) Functional and fairly easy to control although certainly not perfect.  7) Decent build although I wouldn’t want to drop it on a hard surface. A screen protector would help. Included case provides additional protection but isn’t great quality

 Not a big deal now but periodically I find I have to reconnect because the audio don’t work at first. Wether this is a result of an issue with the BTR5, phone or music app software is currently unclear.  I hope to figure out a solution to my #1 Con and once I verify the full quality is being used I will improve my rating. I will also report back with long-term thoughts

 The full capabilities show up on the DAB itself as well as my connected devices, but Neither when using the BTR5, even when connected via usb.  2) Connecting Bluetooth to an apple phone initially was tough and was a pain to figure out the first time. My devices display their own capabilities when I check for stats so I will need to find another way

A Great Bluetooth DAB with One Major Issue!

 I’ve pulled buds off the removable wires only to be plugged back in WO/ problem. The BTR5 give me easily 10hour shift of loud, fully dynamic music/talk with fail, BT doesn’t drop on either my old S8+ and now the Iphone11. Also used as a pure DAC when plugged into PC with USB to Type C wire, or wireless via BT with my Laptops(both Mac and Win10.) One time, repeat Once it would not work properly, their website side do a hardware reset by holding power button for 10 seconds, worked fine

 I need my Bluetooth headset to preform. I also hate tin, thin, crappy sounding audio. Whether listening to streaming news via Sirius, Podcasts, Apple Music or FLAC files I personally ripped from some of the best 1st vinyl pressing of classic rock albums, I want excellent sound quality. After using LG for years, then many of those neckband clones, I got sick of tearing one earbud off it’s wire with no easy repair path

 Ive gone thru about 5 sets of cheap KZ IEMs but the FIIO amp keeps going!!!  Excellent product. 1 year update: I work heavy industry, which means heat, rain, cold, mud, snow, more mud, dust, even more mud. I need my Bluetooth headset to preform. I also hate tin, thin, crappy sounding audio

Awesome  Portable DAC/Amp

 Idle power off. You know, do listen and very slightly more kind of sharper sounding with the power plugged in now. Apple Power supplies tend to be fairly low noise anyway, so it's kind of not a lot of a major issue, but that kind of more lively sound is probably the result of a bit more noise coming through, so that's an interesting factor. But this comes back to what I said about the digital filters

 But can it fear? Simply want to check out. This thing is tiny. I mean it's the size of a couple of my fingers I mean you'll probably be a little bit more bulky once you put it in its case I put it in its case in a bit, but it's small and it's quite well featured. It has USB C which everyone seems to ask for these days, and it has balanced and single ended output that's 2

 I'd say ballast is unnecessary, but we'll talk about that in a bit. There's your microphone. so as you're using it as a Bluetooth device, you have a microphone so you can use it too. If you're using it with a phone, you can take and receive calls no problem, your power button, your play or equivalent button and forward and back on volume up and down depending on the setup

 I think really nice effort from fear I mean if under a hundred and fifty dollars they've done a really good job and you know I wasn't expecting much of that kind of price and actually I think he did a better than a better than I expected.

FiiO BTR5 Bluetooth receiver & headphone amp review

 We can get better stand-alone audio dynamics in other areas. There are cheaper, techier solutions, but I don't know that I found anything. that Venn diagram overlaps so many different audio solutions and handling each one as well as this little bugger right here, so the price should be a little higher. It does several jobs very well and with great crossover gadget support wired and wireless, this is the price I'm now judging premium portable audio by

 So if your phone can't support the headphones you want to use or you want one solution to properly power good audio for multiple gadgets, this Fio is earning a top recommendation. I'll of course leave some links down below where you can find more info on the Fio Btr5. Maybe shop one of these puppies online as always.  The distortion numbers and dynamic range are in similar ballparks it is. It's performing better over Bluetooth than most of the wired solutions built into our portable electronics or any of the standalone, inexpensive Usb dongles we've tested. and then you hook it up over Usbc and everything gets a little better. Still, noise drops a little more, dynamic range improves

 A solid dual stage amp. Inexpensive earbuds really don't need the total output of what this thing can do, so it's better to dial that back, but thirstier cans need some more juice. We are behind the total potential output I can measure from a V60, but the feel Really Didn't have any issues driving my Dt770s and this will probably be sacrilege to true audiophiles, but I think it did an okay job driving my Odyssey. Probably not the best option for planar magnetics, but I thought it sounded okay

Fiio BTR 5 Bluetooth Headphone Amp: The CURE for a Missing Headphone Jack!

 - The battery life is... maybe a bit lacking, compared even to some Bluetooth headphones? It's not an issue are all for me as it can charge while connected through USB

I'll start listing things about the device.  - The sound is great and it drives power-hungry headphones exceptionally well. - The USB DAC mode is hit-or-miss. It works flawlessly on Android devices - you plug it in and audio goes through

 - The manual is borderline unreadable. Again, I hope you know Chinese if you don't like experimenting to figure out what does what. - The battery life is.

Uncompromised sound from a tiny rectangular device

 Alone with the camera connection kid, when you hook everything up, fire up the FiiO app and change the setting for power to off until the FiiO is restarted and you're good to go.  I love this little thing. I never felt good about having a Bluetooth receiver strapped to my head so I favor Bluetooth DACs like this that let me use my preferred wired headphones while moving the Bluetooth receiver away from my head. The battery life is fine for me and it's really well-made

 A couple of things about the sound quality, I use an iPhone and all iPhones and iPads only use the AAC codec. I don't know what any other codecs sound like because I'm stuck in the apple universe but I can definitely hear a huge degradation in sound quality from an old-school wired headphone jack, no matter what Bluetooth devices I sample. I keep an older iPhone SE around as an iPod and use it quite a lot for podcasts and music and there's always a drop off when I switch to my daily-driver iPhone+any type of Bluetooth headphone situation. Anyway, the BTR5 sounds great for podcasts and it's really decent while playing music via Bluetooth from an iPhone, probably as good as any AAC codec Bluetooth device can sound

The best part about this little DAC is that you can connect it to the Lightning port using either currently sold Apple camera connection kit (I have both the regular one and the one with the extra Lightning port and they both work). Don't be a dummy like me and waste $20+shipping on an apple USB-C to lightning cable because it won't work. What you need is an apple camera connection kit and the included USB-C charging cable and it'll work great on your iPhone. The reason why you wanna be able to plug it directly into your iPhone is that it sounds 2x as good plugged directly into your iPhone's Lightning port and bypassing the Bluetooth codec

Pretty awesome, even better sound when plugged into your phone.

 Things for everyone to know: 1) If you item stopped working under warranty FiiO will make you pay return shipping 2) Before guy even get to the part where you send the item you are likely to spend hours going through technical support’s recommends 3) my devices just stopped turning on after a few months of light use. FiiO support made jump through all sort of ridiculous hoops / change two charges, change two cables, charge for a few hours, charge overnight, you get the idea. Finally FiiO told me to pay to ship BTR5 to their service center in California. Long story short, they told me: “ we received it, it’s turning on, we played some music and are sending it back to you”

Who cares if BTR5 sounds good if it’s dead and support is poor

 Naturally you can buy your own cables, but it's good to have all the options right away. Aesthetically, this isn't the most pleasing looking cable. It's kind of a semi-transparent, foggy clear coat, if you will. It makes kind of a weird texture noise to it, but sound quality wise, I was still really happy with it

 The differences are much more noticeable than you think and yes, you get diminishing returns. You can buy a good $300 headphone and it'll sound great. You can spend $1,000 and $2,000 and when you step up to $3,000, it's like, okay, how much better can it sound? These are very special. These aren't just like it sounds a little bit better

 This is an audiophile headphone, so we're going to be focusing on it as such. Now there are a few things I want to discuss in the beginning before we get into sound quality, and when you open the box, it's presented in a nice way. You have the headphones are kind of put in this really nice little liner inside. The three sets of cables are included in the middle, and that'll give you your XLR, your three quarter inch jack, or sorry, your quarter inch jack, and the 3

 It has a nice clamp force to it. It's very linear, and that's super important because when you buy a $3,500 headphone, you don't want it to fit certain heads much better than others. So small head versus large head. Some headphones and headsets or whatever you use, they don't have a linear clamp force, which means they have a little bit of give, then you get to here and it's a lot tighter

 Now admittedly, I've had these for a long time, months and months, and if you've watched

 some of my other reviews where I've talked about things like the Shithell 2 AMP DAC,

 I've liked them so much that I put way too much pressure on myself for this review because
