To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of IEMs, but these little light-as-a-feather wonders from Final are really comfortable in my ears for long periods of time, and can be even used for side-sleeping with. Note that there is a fair amount of cable noise if you touch the cables or if they rub against your shirt - but that sound disappears once the music starts.

I admit that I have not heard many other IEMs, and therefore cannot give you an honest comparison with regards to other budget IEMs, but I find it hard to believe that any of them can beat the Final E500 for sheer bang-for-buck value.

The audiophile universe is governed by the laws of diminishing returns. You could spend thousands of dollars on all sorts of ‘end-game’ toys for your ears and still yearn for something better. Or worse, that headphone you bought for 3000 dollars two months ago is now on sale for half that price. An so it goes

 Stunning bass, luscious non-fatiguing highs and a beautifully defined midrange make these truly enjoyable to listening to music on. The feeling of immersive surround sound that you get from these is outstanding. The immediate feeling I got was that these were like the IEM version of my fantastic Beyerdynamic TYGR 300 R over-ear headphones. If you do not like to smile or enjoy having fun with your music, then do not buy the Final E500

That said, I have the Final E4000 and really like those as well for the price. I'm sure the E500 is good too. But the MH755 for about $10 US is the budget king, at least to me. I think they are getting harder to find though, now.

Final E500 - The New Budget Kings!

 - Minimal sound leakage. I can listen to Britney aggressivly yelling at me to "Work B*tch" as I'm dying studying in the library just fine.

 I find its soundstage to be not as good as my kz-as10, but it is leaps and bounds better than something like a 1moretripple driver. --- Buy it for its comfort level, especially if you have small ears like me. For its price tag, the sound quality is up there. They beat out all the $100 ranged earbuds I've ever owned

Comfortable and sound great

I have an E4000 (which I love very much as an all-rounder), and don't mind at all a comfortable, decently-tuned pair that I can enjoy for long listens. Both the A3000 and the E4000 seem to have an 'average/inoffensive' C+ ratings, but for me that aspect can be a plus.

 I just cleaned this new pair and surprise the right earbud gets significantly low. Luckily I had the other good earbud from the first pair I bought so I had to switch it. I do like these earbuds but the fact the durability to liquids is so pathetic I can't see myself buying from this company again . Which is a shame

Short version:  The problem is any drop of a liquid will damage one of the earbuds and permanently lower the particular buds volume.  The sound quality is overall pretty good BUT I have had many cheaper earbuds under $30 that are louder than these. I ran into the same issue as another person who bought these. These earbuds will last IF you do not get any liquid near them

AWFUL DURABILITY

 The question I'm wrestling with is whether these are worth roughly 3x the price of the E3000's, which are terrific in their own right with maybe a touch less bass but a brighter top end. To my aging ears, a boosted top end is a little more useful than a boosted bottom, so I'm not sure. These are good phones in their own right. The barrel size is a hair larger than the E3000, and the stiff wire connector means the fit is a bit different

 The E3000 slipped easily into my ear canal, but the E4000 seems a little more resistant to insertion unless I flip them over (with the cable exiting at the top) and use the ear hooks. The sound is good either way. These are far less sensitive to ear positioning than some other phones I've owned, like the Shure SE215, which goes from great to crap with a tiny change in insertion angle. Listen to the last 3 minutes of Mark Knopfler's "Speedway At Nazareth" to hear what these buds are capable of

I've owned Final's E3000's for a couple of years and really like them, so when my beloved Klipsch S4s finally died, I took a chance on the E4000's as a replacement. The sound quality is very good -- solid bass with an overall warm sound. Warm sound, good build quality

If you are looking at the $100 price range, I can honestly say that people telling you to purchase quarks, or the Chus, or the CRAs are giving you bad advice. For under $100 you can get Moondrop Arias ($79), Tinhifi T3 Plus ($69- My personal suggestion and IMO as good if not better than the Arias, but that is based on subjective opinion gained from having owned both and keeping the T3 plus and subsequently selling the Arias), Etymotic ER2 or ER3 series from drop, Final Audio E3000 or E4000, ans many more. These would be what I would look at and I can honestly tell you that the Chus, quarks, or CRAs do not provide a competitive option when offerings like those I mentioned are within your price range. Don't skimp by spending $20 when you can afford VASTLY superior IEMs within your stated budget

I was looking for a replacement for my prior pair of IEM's: hifiman re600s v2 songbird, which sounded very musical (albeit definitely not a flat response curve) but had flaws in the construction which lead to the lack of durability. After a lot of researching and multiple blindfold tests I found these Final Audio E4000's to be exactly what I was looking for. They provide clarity across the frequency range and have a bit of bump on the low end though definitely not overstated. The sound-stage is encompassing (as it should be with IEM's imo) which makes these sound great for just about any genre of music

Best in price range I've tried

 Unfortunately the replacement pair just began failing 6 months after I received them.  While the sound quality on these is great, and the company is very good is responding to warranty claims, when you spend $150 on a pair of IEMs you expect them to last at least for a couple years, and dealing with warranty claims is frustrating and time consuming.

These are great until they’re not. My first pair failed after 6 months of use, and to Final Audio’s credit they did honor the warranty and replace them. Unfortunately the replacement pair just began failing 6 months after I received them.  While the sound quality on these is great, and the company is very good is responding to warranty claims, when you spend $150 on a pair of IEMs you expect them to last at least for a couple years, and dealing with warranty claims is frustrating and time consuming

Great until they’re not

 I started to be interested in final earphones due to this Final E4000's sound. So I purchased a ZE3000 Bluetooth earphone after E4000. And I just have ordered a E3000, too.

 Naturally you can buy your own cables, but it's good to have all the options right away. Aesthetically, this isn't the most pleasing looking cable. It's kind of a semi-transparent, foggy clear coat, if you will. It makes kind of a weird texture noise to it, but sound quality wise, I was still really happy with it

 The differences are much more noticeable than you think and yes, you get diminishing returns. You can buy a good $300 headphone and it'll sound great. You can spend $1,000 and $2,000 and when you step up to $3,000, it's like, okay, how much better can it sound? These are very special. These aren't just like it sounds a little bit better

 This is an audiophile headphone, so we're going to be focusing on it as such. Now there are a few things I want to discuss in the beginning before we get into sound quality, and when you open the box, it's presented in a nice way. You have the headphones are kind of put in this really nice little liner inside. The three sets of cables are included in the middle, and that'll give you your XLR, your three quarter inch jack, or sorry, your quarter inch jack, and the 3

 It has a nice clamp force to it. It's very linear, and that's super important because when you buy a $3,500 headphone, you don't want it to fit certain heads much better than others. So small head versus large head. Some headphones and headsets or whatever you use, they don't have a linear clamp force, which means they have a little bit of give, then you get to here and it's a lot tighter
