Sound Quality

Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX

(1/3)

My wife disagrees, but I think movies sound punchier and more intimate on grado cans. And they have the side benefit of letting two people listen to something and just talk like nothing since they leak like mad. But again, all round? These babies, hands down.

Logitech G Pro X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset

(1/2)

Ill start with the bad since I ended up returning these the day after I tried them. - Low volume, even if cranked to 100%, I tried to hurt my ears (yes bad idea in general) and was unable to..

Comfort

Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX

(1/2)

All-day comfortable with ease (they can get a tiny bit warm with the alcantara pads in a hot room, but not even close to unacceptable) and utterly zero squeaks or creaks (looking at you, Audio Technica AD700's) The one, ONLY gripe I have with them is the nice cable they have is too short for anything other than a desktop amp or device RIGHT in front of you. BUT, it's replaceable, and lots of companies make cables for them. Side benefit is you can get a balanced cable for them, and if you get a BTR5 as well, that amp has a balanced output option. So they can sound EVEN BETTER

Logitech G Pro X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset

(1/1)

.. - EQ tweaks resulted in speakers distorting when volume was > 50% - No real bass to be spoken of - "surround" feature made it sound worse but did make it a touch louder - Swapping the ear pads is a bit tricky, would like it to be easier - No way to boost the ambient mic sounds to hear them when playing games/music The good: - Comfortable - Mic passthrough for ambient sounds is cool (see bad note about this as well) - Good battery life (tho in researching replacements its kinda low for over the head speakers like this) - Looks and feels quality Overall tho as I mentioned I was disappointed. For headphones in this price tier these seemed more like bottom of the barrel in terms of sounds quality

Fit

Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX

(1/1)

It's not long enough for comfortable PC/ living room AV receiver use for me, so I ordered a replacement cable when I bought the headphone. The replacement cable is that red one that everybody else is buying. I clipped the "braided" part off, and now they're really cool looking red cables. They click really nicely into the headphones - better click than the stock cable

Logitech G Pro X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset

(1/1)

Like the wired Pro X, Logitech includes a set of velour-covered foam ear pads with this new model that you can put on if the preinstalled leather-like pads aren’t doing it for you. And similar to my colleague Nick Statt’s impressions with the wired version linked above, I found that the overall fit of the Pro X Lightspeed is tighter than I prefer. I sometimes like to position one ear cup off my ear so I can hear what’s happening in my apartment, but that quickly proved too painful to continue doing.

Same as me, never had a problem from day 1. My gears are Logitech G pro Keyboard, G403 Mouse, and G pro wireless headset. All works and sync fine with Ghub
