These headphones sound great and are very affordable, but just know what you are getting. If you're looking for some great sounding headphones to listen to around your house using a headphone amp, these would be a great buy. But if you're looking for something to take to the gym, or use at work you'll probably want to look elsewhere. Pros - Excellent sound quality

) Koss Porta Pro On Ear Headphones with Case ($35) and 3.) Monoprice Premium Hi-fi DJ Style Over-the-Ear Pro Headphones with Mic (also known by their product number, 8323, $29). I wanted some headphones for listening to music or movies on my computer. For "serious" headphones in a real sound system (over $200) I recommend Sennheiser, they are excellent and I love their balanced sound, but for casual listens on my desktop I wanted something cheap and comfortable

My wife disagrees, but I think movies sound punchier and more intimate on grado cans. And they have the side benefit of letting two people listen to something and just talk like nothing since they leak like mad. But again, all round? These babies, hands down.

The sound quality was not bad for the price. When the first pair broke, I decided to give them a second chance and order the second pair. I decided to pay for the extended warranty. After 6 months, the headphones again broke just above the earpiece leaving the speaker dangling from the wires

Comfort

Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX

(1/2)

All-day comfortable with ease (they can get a tiny bit warm with the alcantara pads in a hot room, but not even close to unacceptable) and utterly zero squeaks or creaks (looking at you, Audio Technica AD700's) The one, ONLY gripe I have with them is the nice cable they have is too short for anything other than a desktop amp or device RIGHT in front of you. BUT, it's replaceable, and lots of companies make cables for them. Side benefit is you can get a balanced cable for them, and if you get a BTR5 as well, that amp has a balanced output option. So they can sound EVEN BETTER

I've had these for a few hours so far, so review may be premature, I am giving it 5 stars for now but might edit in the future. My old Samson SR850's had broken, and I was looking for something cheap and closed back to replace them with, I stumbled upon these and was very wary to order them considering the comfort issues. I decided to spend the extra $13 and bought these pads [URL REMOVED] which I couldnt be happier with. I also took the headband cushion off my broke Sennheiser HD518s, and duct taped it onto the headband, comfort wise these are about a 4, the clamp is force is still pretty tight but that will probably wear down over time

Fit

Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX

It's not long enough for comfortable PC/ living room AV receiver use for me, so I ordered a replacement cable when I bought the headphone. The replacement cable is that red one that everybody else is buying. I clipped the "braided" part off, and now they're really cool looking red cables. They click really nicely into the headphones - better click than the stock cable

However there's just a thin band of metal going across the top of the head, and they are not over the ear type so no cushion around the ear. They are "on ear", which is fine, but forget any noise cancellation. There was some sort of "comfort" adjustment on both sides from "firm" to "light" (pressure?) but no instructions, and adjusting it did almost nothing that I could tell, just seemed like a gimmick. The whole thing was very lightweight, which was nice, but also appeared sort of flimsy

Customer service is not amazing. Warranty is nothing special. Oh, and the stock cable is a cable. It's not great

I decided to pay for the extended warranty. After 6 months, the headphones again broke just above the earpiece leaving the speaker dangling from the wires. The earpiece plastic cushion also cracked on both sides. No problem I thought, I will just use the warranty

I suggest reinforcing the headband with tape as I did, because I fear it could crack easily
