These headphones sound great and are very affordable, but just know what you are getting. If you're looking for some great sounding headphones to listen to around your house using a headphone amp, these would be a great buy. But if you're looking for something to take to the gym, or use at work you'll probably want to look elsewhere. Pros - Excellent sound quality

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

They are also really comfortable. For the price range, it really comes down to these or the astros and speaking as someone who has both, go with these. The astros are trash, the headsets never lasted me more than two or three months before i had to send back for repairs and it was also a headache dealing with their customer service. Update: I have had these almost a yr now and have yet to have any issue with them

My wife disagrees, but I think movies sound punchier and more intimate on grado cans. And they have the side benefit of letting two people listen to something and just talk like nothing since they leak like mad. But again, all round? These babies, hands down.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

I’ve gone through exactly 3 headsets (The official Microsoft Xbox One headset, PlayStation Gold Wireless headset 2018, and a Razor headset) looking for a viable option that had both DECENT audio and mic quality, as all the headsets I’ve purchased have had build quality issues and terrible mic quality. I’ve given up on picking up a wireless headset as from what I’ve seen, are incredibly expensive. I saw the ad for the SteelSeries Arctic 1 headset and it seemed too good to be true (very cheap price for a wireless headset, and interchange between 3 consoles) and to my surprise, it lived up to pretty much all its claims. Wireless connectivity works seamlessly with its included dongle, and I have had zero dropouts or latency issues with it on both PS4 and Nintendo Switch

Comfort

All-day comfortable with ease (they can get a tiny bit warm with the alcantara pads in a hot room, but not even close to unacceptable) and utterly zero squeaks or creaks (looking at you, Audio Technica AD700's) The one, ONLY gripe I have with them is the nice cable they have is too short for anything other than a desktop amp or device RIGHT in front of you. BUT, it's replaceable, and lots of companies make cables for them. Side benefit is you can get a balanced cable for them, and if you get a BTR5 as well, that amp has a balanced output option. So they can sound EVEN BETTER

* **Requirements for Isolation** \- I hate active noise cancelling (as I've just found out after purchasing MS Surface 2) so no active noise cancellation, I also want to ensure people around me can't hear what I am listening to.

It's not long enough for comfortable PC/ living room AV receiver use for me, so I ordered a replacement cable when I bought the headphone. The replacement cable is that red one that everybody else is buying. I clipped the "braided" part off, and now they're really cool looking red cables. They click really nicely into the headphones - better click than the stock cable

Customer service is not amazing. Warranty is nothing special. Oh, and the stock cable is a cable. It's not great

The headphones and gamedac broke after less than a year and Steelseries has not honored the warranty. Steelseries told me to destroy the product and prove that I destroyed it in order to have my warranty claim approved. Then, after I did so, I was given a code to use on the Steelseries web store, but the code only provided sufficient funds to replace the gamedac -- not the headphones. I have received no response from Steelseries after following up multiple times regarding the claim

* **What would you like to improve on from your set-up** \- something that will last a long time, something that I can repair with replacement parts would be neat, removable cables are a big selling point but ultimately I want something that feels solid and premium with minimal plastic and will last a long time
