If you're looking for a cordless stick vacuum that's lightweight and easy to carry around, the Dyson Omni-Glide is worth a look. It has a uniquely-designed floorhead with twin rotating soft rollers and four caster wheels, allowing you to easily pivot the vacuum in tight corners and maneuver it around in tight spaces. It weighs considerably less than many other cordless stick vacuums, even other Dyson models like the Dyson V8 Animal. It does a great job dealing with small debris and pet hair on bare floors, though bulky debris tends to get trapped at its suction inlet. It also isn't designed for use on carpeted floors. Its battery life isn't especially long either, as you can only expect a maximum of 30 minutes of runtime in its least-powerful suction mode.

If you're looking for a cordless stick vacuum that can be used on all surfaces and has a longer runtime, you could also look at the Simplicity S65S, though this model is notably heavier than the Omni-glide. Conversely, if you're looking for something even more lightweight, the Dyson Micro 1.5kg is one of the lightest cordless vacuums we've tested, though it's currently quite hard to find.

If you're looking for a cordless stick vacuum that's lightweight and easy to carry around, the Dyson Omni-glide is worth a look. Unlike traditional stick vacuums like the Tineco PURE ONE S11, it's only meant for relatively short cleaning sessions due to its tiny dirt compartment and short maximum battery life of a little under half an hour. The 4 Best Cordless Stick Vacuums - Spring 2022

 It'S a genuinely good innovation. That'S well executed design wise, but there are some downsides. The first thing i'll mention is that the battery life wasn't great. I like that the battery was removable and that you could buy extras if you needed to - and i understand that it was critical for them to keep the handle weight down by using a smaller battery

 They do two things that traditional floor heads don't do very well, which is pick up large debris, while maintaining a good seal on floors, as well as picking up super fine debris. Basically, dusting hard floors again something traditional vacuums. Don'T do well with the articulating neck and 360 degree casters on the bottom, make it incredibly maneuverable and able to do things and go places. Regular vacuums can't i'll have a lot to say about this aspect of the omni glide later, but first, let's hit some of the specs and test results

 But i would have liked to see a bit more than 20 minutes on standard power and about four minutes on max power. I should mention that i didn't need to use the max power mode in the pickup tests, except for the glitter test, because glitter has a way of sticking to the floors. All that to say that 20 minutes on standard power is probably what you can actually expect in real world use. Another negative is that, while hair didn't get caught in the roller per se, it did get caught in the axles of the roller, and it's something i think would be easy for someone to overlook and have problems with if they didn't remove it regularly

 It'S almost half the weight of the recent dyson v15 there's a removable battery in the handle the handle has two buttons, an on off button and a max power button. There is a dust bin that functions much like the recent dyson cordless vacuums, though it is quite a bit smaller than previous models, with the power test, where i tested its suction and airflow in different ways and on all of its power settings. It was interesting, for example, i found it was significantly below average in airflow and with the unsealed suction test, and it was exactly average in the sealed suction test. Basically, the raw power specs weren't anything special with the omniglide, but this wasn't entirely unexpected either

Flagship stick vacuum - almost time to cut the cord

 I've also had no issues with the dyeing or not working and I use it once a week. It may look gross, but it still works like new. Not only that, using the Dyson is super easy. Just let it charge, put the attachment you want, and that's it

 It's light, portable, and you can use it in the car or use it to grab some spider webs up high. The trigger is also very easy to press and hold and I can probably do it with my pinky finger. Attaching and changing. The cleaner head is also super easy

 So what makes the Dyson so expensive? First, the quality is amazing, Second, it's easy to maintain, and third, well, it sucks literally for the size, it cleans extremely well on all types of surfaces with fade free suction. The brush head that comes with the Dyson is made of carbon fiber bristles that dig deep and suck dirt and debris from the carpet. It also comes with various attachments and a charging dock. With the V10, you can easily switch between different modes based on the type of surface you're cleaning to save battery life

 To clean the filter, you simply twist it off and run it under water and let it air dry. As far as durability goes, I've dropped this bad boy so many times I can't even count. I've also had no issues with the dyeing or not working and I use it once a week. It may look gross, but it still works like new

Even the cheapest Chineese motors I ran into have stators made out of METAL. METAL, DYSON! NOT CHEAP PLASTIC! I needed to clean the broken parts and check them because I could not believe this ist plastic. And if someone neither can believe have a look at the photos attached.

  But I've decided to keep the vacuum, because I love the cordlessness. So much easier to go from room to room without having to drag the cannister or get the cord tangled around the cannister, around the furniture, and having to stop and replug. That alone is nearly worth the price of admission. It's easy to grab to do a quick pick up too

Unexpected benefit of poor battery life.

To get the best of both worlds, you might want to think about settling for a more mid priced options like a Henry canister and a Dyson v10 or LG A9.

Just bought a Miele C3, couple questions

I bought his vacuum just over 4 months ago and it has sadly been disappointing overall.  The suction power and battery life are fine, but it requires cleaning at least twice, most often three times, every time I use it. My house is 1800sqft and I can't get through an entire pass without having to brush (with a toothbrush) the side port above the diaphragm of the waste bin and the connections to the attachments. The filter needs to be washed much more often (about every 2 uses) than the manufacturer says
