If you're looking for a cordless stick vacuum that's lightweight and easy to carry around, the Dyson Omni-Glide is worth a look. It has a uniquely-designed floorhead with twin rotating soft rollers and four caster wheels, allowing you to easily pivot the vacuum in tight corners and maneuver it around in tight spaces. It weighs considerably less than many other cordless stick vacuums, even other Dyson models like the Dyson V8 Animal. It does a great job dealing with small debris and pet hair on bare floors, though bulky debris tends to get trapped at its suction inlet. It also isn't designed for use on carpeted floors. Its battery life isn't especially long either, as you can only expect a maximum of 30 minutes of runtime in its least-powerful suction mode.

If you're looking for a cordless stick vacuum that can be used on all surfaces and has a longer runtime, you could also look at the Simplicity S65S, though this model is notably heavier than the Omni-glide. Conversely, if you're looking for something even more lightweight, the Dyson Micro 1.5kg is one of the lightest cordless vacuums we've tested, though it's currently quite hard to find.

If you're looking for a cordless stick vacuum that's lightweight and easy to carry around, the Dyson Omni-glide is worth a look. Unlike traditional stick vacuums like the Tineco PURE ONE S11, it's only meant for relatively short cleaning sessions due to its tiny dirt compartment and short maximum battery life of a little under half an hour. Furthermore, its twin soft-roller floorhead is only meant for cleaning bare floors. However, it's exceedingly lightweight, and its uniquely-designed floorhead makes it easy to maneuver it in tight spaces.

 It'S a genuinely good innovation. That'S well executed design wise, but there are some downsides. The first thing i'll mention is that the battery life wasn't great. I like that the battery was removable and that you could buy extras if you needed to - and i understand that it was critical for them to keep the handle weight down by using a smaller battery

 They do two things that traditional floor heads don't do very well, which is pick up large debris, while maintaining a good seal on floors, as well as picking up super fine debris. Basically, dusting hard floors again something traditional vacuums. Don'T do well with the articulating neck and 360 degree casters on the bottom, make it incredibly maneuverable and able to do things and go places. Regular vacuums can't i'll have a lot to say about this aspect of the omni glide later, but first, let's hit some of the specs and test results

 But i would have liked to see a bit more than 20 minutes on standard power and about four minutes on max power. I should mention that i didn't need to use the max power mode in the pickup tests, except for the glitter test, because glitter has a way of sticking to the floors. All that to say that 20 minutes on standard power is probably what you can actually expect in real world use. Another negative is that, while hair didn't get caught in the roller per se, it did get caught in the axles of the roller, and it's something i think would be easy for someone to overlook and have problems with if they didn't remove it regularly

 It'S almost half the weight of the recent dyson v15 there's a removable battery in the handle the handle has two buttons, an on off button and a max power button. There is a dust bin that functions much like the recent dyson cordless vacuums, though it is quite a bit smaller than previous models, with the power test, where i tested its suction and airflow in different ways and on all of its power settings. It was interesting, for example, i found it was significantly below average in airflow and with the unsealed suction test, and it was exactly average in the sealed suction test. Basically, the raw power specs weren't anything special with the omniglide, but this wasn't entirely unexpected either

Just to give you an idea of how clean the Dyson left the floor, it didn't pick up anything but a few specs. Overall, it is an amazing vacuum stick

 It's a vacuum stick with powerful suction for quick jobs and extreme portability. It weighs a little over five pounds and it has a point two gallon dustbin which isn't too big, but it's meant for small jobs and has a washable HEPA filter and it's very portable. It also comes with multiple attachments for different jobs. The vacuum stick also converts to a handheld model for easier use for different situations

 so be aware of that when you do clean it out because you can't make a mess now. DYSON V7 FLUFFY REVIEW. LIGHTEST MOST POWERFUL VACUUM STICK?

 Firstly the intake jet to the small dirt container is so constricted that it takes very little for this to get completely clogged up and the only way of clearing it is to open it up and get your fingers inside to pull out whatever is causing the problem - typically for us this is just a small piece of fur that has accumulated dust etc behind it and gradually what was a small blockage becomes a large one. I estimate this happens 1 in 3 times we use the cleaner.  Second similar design flaw is in the fluffy head - there's a tiny intake again that suffers from the same problem. Never had either of these 2 problems with our previous Dyson in the UK and the same cat - indeed we had 2 cats then and it coped way better

Very disappointed - way worse than much older Dyson Animal

Love this wood floor cleaning tool! Battery life is well long enough to clean my 3150 sq ft house of solid wood floors! The switch is in a perfect place in the handle. And I love the way it is a trigger style. When I need to move a chair or small table I just set Fluffy down, no hunting for the switch to turn off. This vacume picks up dust and is so gentle on my wood floors

 I have also had tons of battery issues (turning off, running for only a couple minutes). I did end up replacing the battery which made it better for a bit but then it quickly ran into the same problem.

I own a Riccar Supralite as my main vacuum, and it's amazing. 

However, about six months ago, I decided to purchase a Dyson V11 Animal stick vacuum. I thought it would be a nice, compact vacuum just to use upstairs, since our second floor is literally just two bedrooms and a bathroom. And while I'm not generally a fan of bagless vacuums, our second floor carpet gets very minimally dirty, so I thought emptying the canister would be fairly painless. 

I bought it from Best Buy's website and paid $600 for it. At first, it was working great. I loved it and I loved the convenience of being able to covert it to handheld. 

Then, not even five months later, I go to use it and it suddenly won't work. I realized the battery was dead, despite the fact that it had been charging for days. I contacted Dyson support and they said the problem was likely the charger, and they would send me a new one. 

After about a week, I got the new charger. It worked, and I could use the vacuum again. Hooray! 

Then, I went to go use the vacuum again today....and the battery is once again not charging. The new charger lasted about two weeks before it also broke. 

Has anybody else had this issue? At this rate I just want to return the vacuum and try to get my money back. I don't want to keep contacting support and getting sent new chargers every month.
