Sound Quality

EarFun Air

(1/5)

I know prices vary by region. I have gotten good sound from the Earfun earbuds. I have the Earfun Air, and the Earfun Air Pro 2 have very good sound as do Earfun Free Pro 2.

Hifiman Ananda Headphones

(1/3)

Before you get too excited about the rating at the top of the page, however, keep in mind the HiFiMan Ananda headphones reviewed here cost $999. That's no typo—three 9s. Their planar magnetic drivers and open design provide a superb sense of space and detail throughout the frequency range. In my testing, it felt like I was hearing some tracks I've listened to for years for the very first time

Durability

EarFun Air

(1/1)

From the shipping process to receiving. Received headphones 2 days in advanced. I was currently in the market for a pair of new headphones when these came on my radar and have been throughly impressed. I do work in construction and the headphones are really durable and so is the charging case

Hifiman Ananda Headphones

Anyway, this isn't a streaming review. Point is you absolutely have to drive these with good quality sources. I read a ton of reviews before buying these and saw people saying you could drive these with a phone. Well, you can, I guess, but probably shouldn't

Fit

EarFun Air

(1/1)

Volume however is no problem, they can crank the dB's. Passive noise cancelation is decent when the ear pieces are fit snug although talking with one or both in my ears (when audio off) produces a reverberating echo in that ear(s). Touch control is about 80% successful for me, usually not registering one of my taps. Auto-pause/play on removal/insertion is about 50/50 although I'm working on making sure I'm "doing it right" as you have to snug it in and give it a twist although sometimes it works by just taking it out and putting it in

Hifiman Ananda Headphones

(1/3)

Most of the well known stuff under $2000 and I landed on the Ananda. Price was not an issue, I would have kept the double-expensive Arya if I preferred it, but I didn't. The sound signature of the Ananda is superior for me. Keep in mind I am very open to EQ, as proven by my choice of the RME ADI-2 DAC
