Tiny speakers typcially don't sound very good. Compared with some of our favorite Bluetooth speakers (even small ones), you could say that the Mini's 40mm drivers sound tinny and harsh. But it's much better than the Echo Dot. At arm's length, it can be up to 10db louder than the weak little Dot, with a much rounder sound that at least it suggests bass

I think this is due to the design of the passive radiators. There are 3 instead of 2 now. I think Bose are pushing the limit of what the speaker can do and it is a balancing act they usually win but this speaker is not the case. It is that resonating frequency that annoys me because it is so loud compared to all other frequencies

But it does have one poor design feature that can be "throw it in the trash" frustrating. It does not have an interior power source such as a small battery or even a capacitor. This means that once you plug it into wall socket and get it all setup, it must remain there in order to remain programmed. If you choose to move it to another location or if the power grid should fail (like it did this freezing morning for less than a second), then the Home mini will lose its setup memory

Then i keep getting this weird volume fluctuation. So ill be listening to a song and as it starts volume is at 100% then when the chorus kicks in it kinda gets muffled and sounds like the volume lowers itself by 20% then it goes up again to 100%. Doesnt happen always but enough where it is noticeable and irritating. Now if i lower the overall volume of the speaker this is less frequent

The volume can be high for a small device. We find we have to turn it down ("Hey Google, turn the volume down 50%).

I bought this hoping I could paired and play multiple room music with Alexa, but I found out I could not do it and did not allow me. I was hoping the sound quality and loudness was going to be better than the revolve but it doesn’t. So you can get a cheaper device anywhere with better sound quality and better features. In my opinion I’m planing to return this and buy another speaker that performs better and for better price

the walmart on google express does not reflect the same price as walmart and if it is in stock at walmart. com it dont mean it is in stock on google express and it is more money. and they dont try to help just say send it back for a refund. so dont waste your time buy an alexa and get real service

Google support is crap. I had a scenario where they gave me wrong information, and they admitted and they gave me wrong information, and as a result I had to return the phone which therefore disqualified me from a promotion (a free Google home mini) and even though they were the ones that gave me the incorrect information leading up to this issue they refused to concede and give me the free Google home mini when I should have been able to get it had it not been for their incorrect information. Google support is trash.
