 You need three rows for that to work out, but inside dimensions are the same about a half inch different on the height and width, and then the depth is significantly shallower and again this is a 20 liter bag. This is a 21 liter size. So that's pretty again, if you're a shorter frame again, i'm five, nine, and so the gr1 size really fits me perfectly. But this is gon na, be a great camera bag based off of its size and versatility, and it's a little bigger than the bullet 15 liter by about six liters

 I use as my quick access pocket. What I do is the zippers on the front. I try and keep them anywhere towards the top. So, on the go, if I need to open it grab what I need and close it back up, the laura mesh pocket has my electronics pouch

 Is the laptop sleeve like I said this isn't EDC and it was designed as an EDC, so it does have a laptop pocket like all garlic bags to access it. You have to flip the straps back, I'm lucky enough, where I don't need to use this as a laptop of pocket. I actually have a back frame that evenly distributes the weight of the bag. The bag empty is already close to three pounds

 This bag is between 21 and 24 liters. I personally tend to think it falls along the 24 litre and it definitely holds more than some of my 19 or 20 liter backpacks. This bag is made from a thousand D Cordura and, like all the go rock backpacks, it has the slanted front flat pocket and the line of moly at the bottom. I did get a chance to use this bag for a little while before New York and New Jersey completely shut down, as I still had to go to work

 This is not a brown paper bag. It'S actually a packing cube um. This is a packing cube. I generally take with me when I stay at my boyfriend's house, so it has a weekend, maybe a third or fourth day's worth of clothes inside that packing cube

 The bottom is flat, so i think packed out this bag will stand up on its own.  They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out

 But you end up with what looks like say a mesh here and a mesh here and when i pack it out i'll kind of show you what i mean so i've got my headphones. So i can put my headphones in one of the mesh guys there. I'Ve got my hand sanitizer, so i can put my hand sanitizer in the other mesh guy there then i have my wallet, which is this daybreaker wallet from wayfinder. Carry that i really like and i'll just stick it in the mesh guy on the other side and then we're rolling and zipping that up front pocket now

 Or does that matter? I don't know, let's look at the back. Actually it does we'll talk about in a minute. The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see

 The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see. Um the back panel itself, um, it's just slightly longer here, but it's basically the same thing. That does make a difference later, though, when we talk about laptops and how laptops work in here, but aside from that um that are those are the only exterior differences that you can see

Gregory uses YKK zippers for the Juxt 34, and many of them have zipper pulls with sturdy plastic loops that make them easy to grab. The quick-access compartment’s zipper has a locking loop that we find somewhat difficult to use, but it unzips better than the same setup on the Gregory Detour. It’s still not a feature we use much, though, as the quick-access pocket should be quick to access, and this is not. Additionally, the pocket stays zipped just fine without the use of the locking loop, so it seems an unnecessary addition

When it’s not fully packed, there are compression straps that can be attached via aluminum hooks to Hypalon straps. We do appreciate the strap keepers holding back the excess straps and keeping them from dangling off the front of the bag, which would look unseemly. They function well, and it would be nice if the hip belt and sternum straps had similar ways to tuck away excess. Instead, those straps dangle uselessly like an undone belt when we’re wearing them properly

A removable sternum strap can be placed along one of several points along the shoulder strap to ensure a proper fit and, with the heft of this bag, it’s needed. Also, a Hypalon clip on the user’s right shoulder strap is an excellent place to clip an action camera for filming our adventures.

 You have got a fully padded hip belt here.. You can see kind of a broad design or a deep design to that nice wrap at the hips really stabilizes things., Also contoured, shoulder straps or harness and nice padding there too

 Some things you might want to keep close at hand and get right to.. I want to lay the pack down on its suspension system and show you what I consider to be a really stand out organizational feature, and that is this: U shaped zippered front entry.

. So, as you can see somewhat traditional in that it is a top loading pack - and you have got this floating lid. And I say floating lid, the height of that lid can be adjusted.

 On the Z55. Spin, this around. Take a look at those organizational features., Starting with the top lid

This is the Gregory Z55 internal frame backpack,
a light weight pack, midsize capacity, 3200

to 3400 cubic inches depending on which size
of the pack fits you best.

Great set of organizational features makes
this a really versatile backpack for overnights

or long weekends or if you are packing properly
even extended backpacking trips.

I am going to spin the Z55 around and we will
take a look at its suspension system and talk

The pack is capable of comfortably hauling
loads of up to 40 pounds despite its lightweight

This is Gregory’s cross flow suspension

There is some separation here between your
back and the pack itself, a mesh panel here.

If there is weight in the pack or I should
say the greater the weight in the pack, the

more this tensions and actually creates that
gapping.

So if anything this pack carries weight better
the more weight that is in it, which is an

You do have some metal perimeter stays here,
give some real structure and support to the

pack that enables it to carry that weight.

pack a very capable and very comfortable for
loads of up to 40 pounds.

Some light weight packs will skimp on organizational
features to keep weight to a minimum, but

Take a look at those organizational features.

So as you can see, somewhat traditional in
that it is a top loading pack and you have

And I say floating lid, the height of that
lid can be adjusted.

It actually can be taken off entirely, too,
if you don’t need that storage capacity

But while the lid is on here, definitely want
to speak to the fact that you have got a sizable

zippered pocket beneath it and a really large
storage pocket right on top.

So quite a bit of storage capacity there.

Drawstring closure on the top of the main
pack bag opens nice and wide so you can get

So lots of storage here on the face of the
pack.

I will undo the side buckles here so you can
see that you can also get in behind that front

pocket and store discarded layers or whatever
it might be, some things you might want to

I want to lay the pack down on its suspension
system and show you what I consider to be

a really stand out organizational feature
and that is this U shaped zippered front entry.

It lets you get into this pack almost like
a piece of luggage, really handy to quickly

get to something, but it also makes this really
easy to stuff or fill.

Again, just a really, really broad array of
organizational features for a pack in this

Just a couple of other things to call out
here.

Some interesting tool loop attachment points
here on the Z55, kind of a tuck away design

so when it is not in use it is not snagging
on anything.

It is not in the way, maintains its nice clean
profile, but certainly extends very usable

Zippered hip belt pockets on either side and
nice capacity there.

You have got a phone in there, some keys,
some essentials I can keep close at hand.

Stretch mesh pockets on the side ideal for
water bottles, tent poles, whatever you want

Another really nice stand out feature here
on the Z55 is an integrated, tuck away rain

cover so when you run into bad weather you
know that you can quickly throw that over

the Z55 with a custom fit and protect the
contents of the pack.

With its combination of light weight design,
storage capacity and that great set of organizational

features, the Gregory Z55 really does deliver
versatility for varied types of back packing.

 You do have just kind of like a standard top lid here on the pack and that just unclips and you've got a rain cover pocket here on the bottom or the underside. I should say, and you've got an included rain fly or rain cover for the pack which I never use rain covers, but here on the top of the pack, I'm going to show you in this direction on the top lid you've got this u-shaped zipper, which I Really like about the a pocket on a top lid instead of just coming straight across and makes it really easy to access the things here on the top of the pack. So I appreciate those little details from Gregory on their packs and then flipping back around pull the top lid open. You'Ve got just kind of a standard style, spindrift collar, which I like this piece of webbing here

 That makes it easy to just pull and get that open, and it's a very good, wide, open pocket that goes down into the main body of the pack and so makes it really easy to get everything in there. I'Ve got just a sleeping bag in there loosely stuff to give like some fill to the inside of the pack, but you've got a cool system here as well. You got this little clip right here and what this is for is for you to hang your hydration system on the inside of the pack, so you do have a hydration sleeve down here on the inside on the back panel on the side. Here you've got these compression straps that, if you're putting tent poles or tripod or something here on the side of the pack, you can use these compression straps to help hold that

 This size here is the small/medium, and so this is for a 15 to 19 inch torso. I do wish that I would have got the larger size, even though I have an 18 and a half inch torso. This is on the small side for me and it's not the most comfortable because of that, and so it's it's a lot higher on my back. It'S just not as comfortable, so if you are on the higher end closer to the larger size, I would probably suggest getting the larger size, but be mindful of

 You can't put, I mean, maybe like an in reach mini or something could fit in there. Snacks, that kind of thing chapstick for the day you're not gon na get like an electronic device in there, because it's just too small and then you've got just a single strap. Not this like v-shaped or y-shaped, strap that you see on several packs. You just have the one strap with the buckle that comes across your belly
