The laptop in the last photo is a 13" macbook pro for size reference. The midvolume may not look like it's much smaller in the photos, however, it definitely is since the depth is smaller than the 23L one. It's a good size for going to school/work when you just need a couple things in there. However, I have several pouches I need for work - money pouch, adapters, hard drives, water bottle, snacks, etc - so the 23L is a better size
Here's the thing. I love Herschel backpacks, and I've had several throughout my high school and college years. However, the "Herschel" backpack I received from Amazon was less than satisfactory. The zippers are not of quality, the leather strap on the zipper actually fell off within 2 days of usage
if I had One Complaint: there's only the one laptop pouch, no other inside pockets. There's also only the one outside zipper pocket, but it does have a clip for keys/what have you. I would love more pockets.
So far thats my only downside to this bag. We'll see how it hold up when I take it to class and how comfortable it is riding with it on my bike.
Sturdy padded straps, Fully lined. Extra pocket on front. Flat bottom so it sits up when you put it down. Extra interior pocket just right for my 12" Macbook
I love this backpack so much! Super durable material and spacious enough to fit my essentials. The only critique I have is that the straps rub a bit on my arms by my armpits. Overall, still a great backpack
