On-Grid™ Packable Backpack Matador

(1/1)

We’re really happy to see YKK zippers on this bag. On similar, previous iterations of this pack, Matador used small SBS zippers. They were more weatherproof, but didn’t feel as durable and streamlined as the updated model. We’re also digging the paracord heat shrink pulls that are easy to grab—they’re a nice touch

Laptop

On-Grid™ Packable Backpack Matador

(1/1)

The laptop sleeve on the inside fit my HP Elitebook 14" well, most 15" laptops would be no problem. This is a packable daypack, so don't expect any laptop protection, so you need to be aware to set it down carefully, but it's nice that they include a laptop pocket. The shoulder straps are sufficient for a packable daypack, I wore this bag for 8 hours at Legoland in Orlando a month ago with about 10lbs in it, and can't recall it being uncomfortable at all even once. This bag has nice strap keepers built in which help maintain a clean look

On-Grid™ Packable Backpack Matador

First up is the front pocket. It opens up horseshoe-style, and the zippers go about a fourth of the way down. We’ve been using this pocket as a spot to dump our tech accessories—cords, dongles, an Apple Magic Mouse, and things of that nature. We like this smaller pocket up top more than other packable Matador bags that favored having these pockets go all the way to the bottom of the bag
