 You need three rows for that to work out, but inside dimensions are the same about a half inch different on the height and width, and then the depth is significantly shallower and again this is a 20 liter bag. This is a 21 liter size. So that's pretty again, if you're a shorter frame again, i'm five, nine, and so the gr1 size really fits me perfectly. But this is gon na, be a great camera bag based off of its size and versatility, and it's a little bigger than the bullet 15 liter by about six liters

 I use as my quick access pocket. What I do is the zippers on the front. I try and keep them anywhere towards the top. So, on the go, if I need to open it grab what I need and close it back up, the laura mesh pocket has my electronics pouch

 Is the laptop sleeve like I said this isn't EDC and it was designed as an EDC, so it does have a laptop pocket like all garlic bags to access it. You have to flip the straps back, I'm lucky enough, where I don't need to use this as a laptop of pocket. I actually have a back frame that evenly distributes the weight of the bag. The bag empty is already close to three pounds

 This bag is between 21 and 24 liters. I personally tend to think it falls along the 24 litre and it definitely holds more than some of my 19 or 20 liter backpacks. This bag is made from a thousand D Cordura and, like all the go rock backpacks, it has the slanted front flat pocket and the line of moly at the bottom. I did get a chance to use this bag for a little while before New York and New Jersey completely shut down, as I still had to go to work

 This is not a brown paper bag. It'S actually a packing cube um. This is a packing cube. I generally take with me when I stay at my boyfriend's house, so it has a weekend, maybe a third or fourth day's worth of clothes inside that packing cube

 The bottom is flat, so i think packed out this bag will stand up on its own.  They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out

Carry that i really like and i'll just stick it in the mesh guy on the other side and then we're rolling and zipping that up front pocket now

 The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see. Um the back panel itself, um, it's just slightly longer here, but it's basically the same thing. That does make a difference later, though, when we talk about laptops and how laptops work in here, but aside from that um that are those are the only exterior differences that you can see

 While my opinion of Thule hasn't changed, I now love Osprey too! I now have about twenty different different Osprey bags/backpacks, and I have been pleasantly surprised by the design, construction, and quality of each one. Similar to Thule, you know you are going to pay a premium when you purchase the Osprey brand, but the quality you receive is worth every penny.  This laptop backpack is perfect for day trips, weekend trips, school, or any other time. It is lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for men and women alike

 The front compartment has enough depth to carry a large jacket, or headphones and tech pouches. The main compartment is roomy. The laptop compartment should fit a large laptop and it's well padded. There is also a smaller front pocket that is good for quick access items like snacks or a hat

The main compartment has a asymmetric zipper that may annoy some, but it allows the pack to fit in a large stretchy water bottle pocket, which is important especially for a pack used in schools.  The material is soft but tough and it is DWR coated

Quality and functional, makes a great work or school bag, high school to college

2. Osprey Aphelia (26L) ($100): This pick is slightly better size-wise & has chest/waist straps that would be great for the day hikes you plan to do, but the laptop compartment (15”) may be too small for you. I also think this size is a bit too large for everyday carry & day hikes.

1. Osprey Arcane XL (30L) ($120): I would axe this based on size alone. You say you want this as your everyday bag, and as a second bag in addition to a luggage when traveling, so I believe 30L is overkill.

 Hi! I've been searching endlessly for the perfect bag (watching YouTube, reading articles, etc.) and I think I've narrowed it down to **5 options** (but am open to others if you have any suitable ideas).

But first, **my bag needs**. I plan to use it for my daily carry around town, to work whenever in person happens again, to travel with (as my 2nd bag in addition to a rolling suitcase), and for day hikes. It needs to be able to fit my 15.6" Lenovo X1 Extreme, preferably in a laptop compartment but I could be ok with sticking it in the main compartment in a case if the bag is perfect. I also need to carry: wallet, big water bottle, light layer, a bag of toiletries (sunscreen, hand moisturizer, etc.), big headphones.

Ok now for look **preferences**. I like a classic-style backpack (my fantasy self is an adventurer/explorer or 1970s journalist). Also, I should mention I'm a 5'6" female, slim, with broadish shoulders, and an iffy lower back.

Without further ado, here are the shortlisted bags (in no particular order):

1. Osprey Arcane XL Day Bag (30 L)
2. Osprey Aphelia (26 L)
3. Day Owl larger size pack (I think 20ish L)
4. Minaal Daily Bag (21 L)
5. Boundary Supply Rennen (22 L)

Osprey Arcane Large Day Pack (V2) Review | Pack Hacker

 This is a 16 inch macbook by the way, so plenty of room there to fit that not a ton of padding uh. You do have a sort of feels like almost like a neoprene material here, so it's very soft. It'S going to be nice and gentle on your laptop, which we can appreciate, there's not a ton of padding going on on the back again. This is really a more edc

 So, starting with the carry methods here, you got these nice hand straps. So this is, if you want to carry it briefcase style uh, the messenger strap does come off if you're just bringing this from your car to the office, and you don't even need the strap. You got these handles. They are folded over nylon here, there's not really a ton of padding, but as long as you don't load this bag up crazy heavy, you don't really need much more than that

 You know for video editing, you always want something you can plug in um and over the ear, preferably, and then we have another flatter adapter here. Just for anything else, you need with the macbook, and so this is also, as you can see, it's a better spot for flatter bigger items and then our trackball mouse. Otherwise, it stays pretty flat when it's empty and you can kind of flip the laptop cover over top just to extra kind of keep it in place there and then opening this up. We have the laptop compartment here, not a ton of padding

 So we can kind of forgive the lack of padding there, but, as you can see, overall it is just a really simple style bag. It'S been holding up great, as you can see here. It picks up hair, pretty easy, but that's just the material. But overall it has been a great carry so there you have it

Osprey Arcane Brief Review (2 Weeks of Use)

 So you can hold this even when the bag is a little bit heavier and then moving into the capacity the bag comes in at about 20 liters, which is a really great daily bag size. In my opinion, i was able to hold all the items that i normally like to carry with me and i still had some leftover space and i love that when the bag was more packed out, it still maintained a really slim silhouette, which made it great for Navigating credit areas jumping onto public transit and carrying on to pretty much any domestic and international airline, taking a look at the straps and the back pedaling so far, the bag has been pretty comfortable to wear. I like how the straps have been implemented here. They have a nice soft and thick padding

 They'Re. Just very functional, looking they're great for the outdoors for travel, but for everyday carry. I like a more minimally styled bag, such as offerings from bellroy, air, mystery ranch or evergoods, and so i was very excited to see osprey, throw their hat into the mix with the arcane day pack. I'Ve been testing this out for the past couple of weeks and in this video i'm going to be talking about my experience and how this compares to some of those other minimal daily bag offerings that i just mentioned
