 You need three rows for that to work out, but inside dimensions are the same about a half inch different on the height and width, and then the depth is significantly shallower and again this is a 20 liter bag. This is a 21 liter size. So that's pretty again, if you're a shorter frame again, i'm five, nine, and so the gr1 size really fits me perfectly. But this is gon na, be a great camera bag based off of its size and versatility, and it's a little bigger than the bullet 15 liter by about six liters

 I use as my quick access pocket. What I do is the zippers on the front. I try and keep them anywhere towards the top. So, on the go, if I need to open it grab what I need and close it back up, the laura mesh pocket has my electronics pouch

 Is the laptop sleeve like I said this isn't EDC and it was designed as an EDC, so it does have a laptop pocket like all garlic bags to access it. You have to flip the straps back, I'm lucky enough, where I don't need to use this as a laptop of pocket. I actually have a back frame that evenly distributes the weight of the bag. The bag empty is already close to three pounds

 This bag is between 21 and 24 liters. I personally tend to think it falls along the 24 litre and it definitely holds more than some of my 19 or 20 liter backpacks. This bag is made from a thousand D Cordura and, like all the go rock backpacks, it has the slanted front flat pocket and the line of moly at the bottom. I did get a chance to use this bag for a little while before New York and New Jersey completely shut down, as I still had to go to work

 This is not a brown paper bag. It'S actually a packing cube um. This is a packing cube. I generally take with me when I stay at my boyfriend's house, so it has a weekend, maybe a third or fourth day's worth of clothes inside that packing cube

 They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out

So i can put my headphones in one of the mesh guys there. I'Ve got my hand sanitizer, so i can put my hand sanitizer in the other mesh guy there then i have my wallet, which is this daybreaker wallet from wayfinder. Carry that i really like and i'll just stick it in the mesh guy on the other side and then we're rolling and zipping that up front pocket now

 Or does that matter? I don't know, let's look at the back. Actually it does we'll talk about in a minute. The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see

 The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see. Um the back panel itself, um, it's just slightly longer here, but it's basically the same thing. That does make a difference later, though, when we talk about laptops and how laptops work in here, but aside from that um that are those are the only exterior differences that you can see

 It was a crude repair--just a series of huge sewn stripes at the area of the rip--but it worked and added a decade to the life of the pack.

 I've made a video exploring the pack, but let me comment a bit on Osprey packs in general and then this pack in particular.  Osprey is as good as it gets in serious backpack design and manufacture. Their packs wear like iron.  You know if you are hiking with your trekking poles and you want to just unload them for a little bit. You don’t have to take your pack off and attach them.. You can just put the trekking poles right here on the stow on the go, trekking pole loops and continue on your way

, Starting with the top lid. You have a really nice open pocket up here on the top for items. You want to get your hands on quickly like a first aid kit or lighter weight items., And this top lid is floating, so you can adjust it up and down, depending on the size of your load

 You can dial in the fit and once you know the fit of this pack, it is going to last you for a really long time and just continue to offer support and comfort in the back country.. It is the Osprey women’s Ariel 65 backpack 

. Moving to this J shaped zipper. This gives you really nice access into the body of the pack., So it is a little bit bigger of a pack and if I just set it down, you can see how wide that opens

The first thing to talk about with any back
pack is the way it carries the load and the

So I am going to turn this pack around just
to see what is going on be-hind the scenes

The stand out feature of the Ariel series
is the isoform hip belt and harness.

So the hip belt and harness are swappable.

You can put different size compo-nents on
this pack.

So the pack itself comes in a couple of different
sizes and the harness and hip belt also come

Someone who has a long torso and skinny hips,
you can, you know, get a large pack with a

small hip belt and, you know, all the different
combinations that are in there.

So really stand out feature with his series.

Again, with the suspension system there is
a light wire aluminum frame that goes around

the outside of the pack and that just comfortably
transfers the load right to your hips, right

You have Osprey’s airscape back panel and
this has some mesh material.

It has also got foam that allows that heat
to escape from your back.

So you are not going to overheat and, you
know, you are going to be really comfortable,

With the breathability the isoform harness
and hip belt also have really nice mesh.

So that is going to allow perspiration to
wick and it is going to allow you to breathe.

I do want to mention that there is also an
adjustable back panel.

So while the pack comes in different sizes,
you can also adjust it with this back panel

So all you have to do is undo the Velcro and
move the back panel up and down, so even more

You can really dial it in for your torso length.

On the back you do have a hydration compatible
sleeve.

And this is actually accessed from outside
of the pack.

So you don’t have to open up the body of
the pack, take your gear out in order for

you to replace the hydration system that is
in there.

It doesn’t come with a hydration reservoir,
but you can buy one separately.

Moving down to the hip belt, you have a hip
belt pocket on either side, big enough for

a cell phone or a granola bar, something you
want to get your hands on quickly.

There is an adjustable sternum strap here,
a safety whistle on there.

And one thing I do want to mention while we
are at this side of the pack, they have stow

And it is something I really love about Osprey
packs.

You know, if you are hiking with your trekking
poles and you want to just unload them for

a little bit, you don’t have to take your
pack off and attach them.

You can just put the trekking poles right
here on the stow on the go trekking pole loops

There is really smart pockets and organization
for people who like to organize their gear.

Starting with the top lid you have a really
nice open pocket up here on the top for items

you want to get your hands on quickly like
a first aid kit or lighter weight items.

And this top lid is floating so you can adjust
it up and down depending on the size of your

Really great thing about this is that you
can actually take the top lid completely off

It adds a lot of value if you just want to
go on day trips or use this pack for shorter

If I turn the pack around and just expose
the top lid here you can see that folds back.

And the top of the pack opens up really wide
so this is a true top loading pack.

You also have a J shaped zipper right here,
so you can get into the body of the pack.

You can see I have got some gear in there
and there is an internal compression strap.

So if you don’t have it packed out completely
you can really cinch down the gear that is

And you can see this pack being great for
a guide or for someone that is thru-hiking

where your load might be really big at one
point and you need a lot of room, but this

has a lot of compression straps in different
place, so as your load gets smaller or if

you are calling a smaller load, you can really
cinch down the pack and your gear stays secure.

Moving to this J shaped zipper, this gives
you really nice access into the body of the

So it is a little bit bigger of a pack and
if I just set it down you can see how wide

I can access stuff that is here on the bottom.

I have just got a little stove in there and
access stuff all the way up to the top.

A really convenient feature you don’t have
to take a lot of things out of your pack in

order to get hands on what you want and this
bottom compartment here is your typical sleeping

You can see I have a sleeping bag in there.

So there is a divider between the bottom sleeping
bag compartment and the main body of the pack.

But if you want, you can take that divider
out and just have one big pocket.

Stretchy mesh pocket on the front where I
like to keep an extra layer or a map, something

I want to get my hands on quickly, something
that is light weight.

On the side you have got really long, what
I normally call water bottle pockets.

Right here I have just tent poles in there.

So you can see the depths of that pocket.

You have got two entry points into this pocket,
one from the top and one from the side.

So if I show you I have got my water bottle
in the other side.

So it is really easy to just grab your water
when you need it.

You don’t have to take your pack off and
reach into this deep pocket.

The other cool thing about this pocket is
there is compression straps.

There is.... you can put them underneath of
this stretchy pocket.

Or, as you can see on this side I have the
compression strap on the outside.

You can compress it down and adjust the volume.

One of the things I love most about this pack
is the versatility and the different ways

 There are organization, pockets upfront, so your smaller stuff is close at hand. I would store my passport pens, my tablet and other things. I want to access quickly in here and you can throw a water bottle or an extra layer in the mesh pockets on the outside. The Fairview has special compression straps on the front, so the contents are protected by the durable wings that keep everything secure when the day pack is taken off these compress small enough to use the main pack by itself, if you're going a little lighter weight, you can Also lash gear to these straps

The first thing to talk about with any backpack
is the suspension system and how it car-ries

the load and, in my opinion, that is just
the shining feature of this pack.

So as I turn it around here, the Ariel packs
come with custom components.

And what I mean by that is you can choose
the torso length of the pack specifically

You can adjust the torso in the shoulder harness
once you have the pack and you can choose

the length of the shoulder harness and you
can choose the size hip belt.

So you have got three different components
going on here.

You can mix and match to get your perfect
fit.

So there is no guessing on whether this pack
fits you well.

You can order those components and you have
that dialed in fit that is pretty unique to

Those components are the isoform custom fit
components.

So you have mesh on the inside of the shoulder
straps.

You have got mesh on the inside of the hip
belt.

And these shoulder straps are very formed.

The hip belt has curves on it that are going
to fit the curves of your body.

And this is just going to deliver a really
great fit.

After you wear the pack for multiple days
and once you kind of break in these shoulder

straps, they are going to conform to your
body and they are actually going to be a custom

fit to you over the life of as you are wearing.

So really great components here, very, very
comfortable, well padded and it is that shining

feature of this pack that makes it stand out
against the rest.

The rest of the back panel here, you have
got Osprey’s airscape back panel that has

a cen-ter chimney here that has spacer mesh
on the front of it that is going to allow

It is going to keep your back nice and cool.

It is an aluminum light wire frame that goes
around the outside to give it rigidity.

You also have a center aluminum stay in the
middle that you can’t see.

So that gives the pack a lot of rigidity.

It transfers the weight to your hips, right
where you need it.

And to give it a lightweight feel, you also
have an HDPE frame sheet behind the scenes

So that offers that rigidity, that support
that you need.

But it keeps the weight down of the pack.

You can access the hydration sleeve from the
out-side.

You don’t have to take things out of your
pack.

You don’t have to open up your pack in order
to put that hydration system in there.

And working my way down from the top, obviously,
you have got load lifter straps to dial in

You have got an adjustable sternum strap that
has got a whistle on one side.

On the hip belt, obviously an adjustable hip
belt with that webbing there.

And there are even pockets on these hip belts.

So you can store granola bars, maybe a small
camera or cell phone of something like that.

This top lid here does have access into the
back.

So you can access gear that you want to get
your hands on quickly from the back.

And this pack has got lots of pockets and
lots of organization.

So we go through and look at the pockets here,
it has got really long stretchy, side pockets.

And this is typically where you would see
a water bottle pocket.

On this side I have a pair of tent poles just
to show you that space.

It has got straps up here that you can really
com-press that down.

The compression straps on this side are routed
outside of this pocket, but if I turn the

pack to the other side, you can see that I
have got a water bottle on this side.

So that pocket is a lot longer, but you can
put a water bottle in sideways so you can

And then you can route the com-pression straps
on the inside of that pocket.

That way you can still access that water bot-tle,
so really great attentions to detail on this

So if you don’t have it packed out completely,
you can cinch it down like I have here.

Or, if you have a bigger load, you can really
adjust that floating lid.

It actu-ally turns into a small day pack.

So there is little straps on the inside of
that lid that you can either put around your

waist or you can hang over your shoulder.

The top access is really easy to get into
the pack here, so really open.

You can access all the gear you need there
from the top.

You also have access into this pack with a
U shaped or a J shaped zipper here on the

So if I open these compression straps on the
front you can see this zipper.

Since it is a pretty big pack, you can access
the middle of your pack and get all the gear

And then you also have access into the bottom
with a lower sleeping bag compartment.

And there is actually a divider in there between
the lower compartment and the main body.

You can toggle that off or if you have longer
pieces of gear that you need to put in there,

you can undo that and just have one big pack.
