 These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out. That'S kind of what it looks like i really like the shape the shapes a little bit more like this

 They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 I think that that's going to be good in use to be honest, i'll put this guy in there there you go so i've packed out like that and there's like still space on top of where this dead matsuda is so wallets in this pocket. Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth

 I dig it laptop in the back here laptop in the back now. This is something we're probably gon na have to talk about, so i don't know how big your laptops are. This is a 13-inch macbook, air and uh. It fits like, like i mean, there's like, maybe that much space there

Laptop compartment does not fit 15 inches laptop ... maybe 14 inches laptop will fit, my lenovo x390 is okay, but msi gs65 does not fit, not even close

I would say if the laptop compartment can really fit my MSI GS-65, it would be the perfect Ruck

with laptop sleeve in the main compartment is okay (a little tight), but than there is no false bottom protection for it

 So that's what the radio rock is all about not offered very often so if this one applies to, you definitely go check it out now, link in the description on how to get one and go check out the radio rock there. It is the quick and dirty on the radio, ruck goruck's original bag that uh before the gr1 and a comparable size, 21 liters, but again a little shorter frame without a frame sheet. So very nice bag not exactly like the gr1 little subtle differences.  But still you get this deeper rook for maybe deeper items that, whatever you carried, maybe a larger camera bag that you're going to throw in here some other items. They just want that deeper size. This would be the right size for you important to note, though. The big difference between this and a gr1 is the lack of the frame sheet

 So that's just something to point out again: just an all-around carry bag. I would not recommend putting steel plates in it if you were going to use steel plates i'd go with a rucker for sure, but if you were crazy enough to just want to get one bag and use it for everything and have that bomb proof pocket, you Could put a plate in here show a picture here of what that looks like how much gap you have to put a steel plate. I put the 20 pounder in there just to show you how big that would fit the 30 pounder would fit uh and it again it fits just fine, there's a little bit of a play in there, but not much, and i wouldn't recommend putting in the elastic Pocket because it's just going to fly out, crush whatever results is in there, maybe even slide up the hitch in the heads, and it's also rain proof. So, just like all the other goruck bags, um the material and the quality, is just fantastic and it's a rainproof bag

 It'S essentially a little bit deeper than the gr1 and a little bit shorter. The dimensions, if you care, are posted right here you can see the dimensions, it's only a half inch, uh different and some of the dimensions and it's really taller.  In addition to the front compression, you can kind of use that to store gear as well with all the attachment points. This would be a great option for mountaineering or expeditions when you're carrying a lot of stuff on the outside of the pack. There'S even tool loops up here, lash points so plenty of space there for you to store gear the pockets really round out the features you've got to stuff it pocket right here on the front, stretchy, side, pockets, I've got kind of a packed house packed away in There 32 ounce water bottle on the other side and then, of course, the top lid of the medium-sized pocket that you can put lighter weight items. You want to get your hands on quickly

 There you can get into your gear. I turn it around and show the shoulder straps they're, actually quite substantial, and you can throw some gear in here for a summit pack use it for the day or you can leave it at home. If you want to go a little bit, lighter weight, there's actually a little flap included on the top of the pack that you can cinch that down to secure the gear. Now, if your hike starts to get technical, you can use the stow on the go

 Once you uncover the lid you can get into your gear. There there's a really convenient zipper. That runs along the side and down to there, so you can access gear from the top, the middle and the bottom, and then you have lower sleeping bag access that opens really wide. So it's easy to grab that sleeping bag out

 I am fortunate enough to have an Ariel 55 around for a direct comparison: - The main compartment is the same as far as I can tell, as is the harness and internal frame - Each can fit up to a 3L hydration bladder, and the sip tube can go on either shoulder strap - Osprey's attention to detail on closures is really well appreciated, with thumb rings on every zipper and a clever one-handed cinch on the top opening (oft imitated, never duplicated) - Rain-shedding flaps over all main zippers, and an additional cover for the top cinch when the day pack is removed. - Waterproof coating on the top opening gaiter and bottom to prevent moisture incursion - Foam-wrapped shoulder straps with no seams contacting the body (so no rubbing in the shoulders or armpits)  I'm deliberately not focusing on the features that are well-documented in the manufacturer's description, as these are generally accurate and need no additional elaboration. What's truly important is that this pack provides a comfortable, reliable experience for all manner of back-country adventuring, from overnights through to multi-week thru-hikes.  - The integral rain cover is moved to a separate compartment beneath the main compartment to make more space on the top pack - There are two additional load-securing cinch straps on the sides of the pack to stabilize the main compartment load - There is a set of loops to hold your trekking poles cross-body for easy access while hiking. The top loop is on one shoulder strap and has a cinch for security, and the bottom loop is on the side of the pack. Poles end up sitting just above the hips and below the arm, though my arm rests on them a little and they stick out to the side if not retracted. - The shell fabric appears to be a little thicker and more robust in wear zones along the sides and bottom

 The system is designed - and intended - to be adjusted regularly as things change, and they definitely do, even on a daily basis some times (pack gets lighter, body loosens up, etc.). I saw hundreds of Osprey packs on the John Muir Trail this summer, and that's evidence for their quality and comfort. While if you're just doing overnights or 2-3 day trips, you could make do with a smaller, lighter pack, if you're looking to get one pack that does it all, this is the one to get.  One final note - take the time to adjust ALL the parts of the harness system before you go out, and plan to make minor adjustments as you go (and your body and the pack conform to each other)

Great all-around backcountry pack for 7+ day excursions

I have used Osprey packs in the past for hiking in national parks and I’ve never been disappointed! The material is durable and although it will show signs of wear if you love it well, they are made to last and I love ospreys lifetime guarantee that they will repair or replace your bag if needed for any reason. (Definitely makes the price seem more justified) - I was able to test the 70 liter pack as well, and I much preferred the way this 60 felt on my back. The 60 felt way more natural/comfortable for long days, and the top portion wasn’t against and over the back of my head like the 70 was. It felt like all of the extra space on the 70 was all behind my head

 If you don’t absolutely need the extra space, I’d quickly recommend the 60 as a more manageable size. One other thing to note is that at 5’7”, I was near the end of the upper/useable range for the torso adjustment. I had to move it as far as I could to get the hip belt to sit in the correct position. If you are much taller, you may need to consider the men’s pack

 The 60 felt way more natural/comfortable for long days, and the top portion wasn’t against and over the back of my head like the 70 was. It felt like all of the extra space on the 70 was all behind my head. If you don’t absolutely need the extra space, I’d quickly recommend the 60 as a more manageable size.
