Size

Osprey Farpoint 55 Travel Pack - Men’s

(1/3)

I’d have preferred a true black. Size. It was BARELY too large to be used as my carry on. I always sleep easier on the plane when I have all of my stuff with me

Zipper

Osprey Farpoint 55 Travel Pack - Men’s

(1/1)

The zip on cover for the straps was important to me because I have in the past had luggage get snagged during transit. On one occasion it was a snowboard bag and almost the entire strap had been ripped from the bag. With the Farpoint’s cover, I was comfortable in knowing that I was in the clear. Once I arrived in Europe, it took only seconds to reattach the day pack and be on my way

Laptop

Osprey Farpoint 55 Travel Pack - Men’s

(1/1)

The daypack had a good laptop sleeve, which was padded, nicely textured, soft, and could hold my 15 in (plus) laptop with no issue. I definitely recommend this bag, possibly with packing cubes or similar devices to hold your clothing in place on extended journeys.

Compartment

Osprey Farpoint 55 Travel Pack - Men’s

(1/1)

Now this issue is a bit of a catch 22, because if the laptop compartment was at the back of this pack you’d have to unload the whole thing to get to it. Alternatively, some bags have a separate laptop compartment behind the main compartment. This is usually great and we love them, but we also love the function of being able to hide our straps away. It’s hard to include both of these features cleanly in a pack

Strap

Osprey Farpoint 55 Travel Pack - Men’s

(1/1)

The only down side for me was no shoulder strap for the pack bag. If this was included I would give this product 5 stars.
