I bought this for a weekend trip to NYC, got there by train and didn't want to carry/roll a bag; this bag is perfect, 80L swallowed everything with room to spare. Was also looking at the next smaller size but the 80L won as

Zipping them away made checking the bag worry-free! I love this bag and plan on putting it through more trips in the next few years!
Compartment

Now this issue is a bit of a catch 22, because if the laptop compartment was at the back of this pack you’d have to unload the whole thing to get to it. Alternatively, some bags have a separate laptop compartment behind the main compartment. This is usually great and we love them, but we also love the function of being able to hide our straps away. It’s hard to include both of these features cleanly in a pack
Strap

Attach points for the daylite day pack are also a nice feature. My only real knock on with the pack is the lack of lumbar support and the chest strap. The pack doesn't contour to your spine well, which can get kinda uncomfortable after a while. The chest strap is adjustable but it still sits too high on your chest
