Osprey Kestrel 58 Pack - Men's
I was looking for a rucksack for two to three day hiking and camping trips that needed to carry a synthetic sleeping bag and a two man tent and everything else required and this fills all requirements perfectly. I had bought a Snugpak Scorpion 2 tent and an Elite 3 synthetic sleeping bag and was very happy with both and was about to get the Rocketpak 70 litre which although I liked the aesthetics and it matching the rest of my set-up, when I researched it had very mixed reviews on build quality and then decided to do a lot more investigation. After hours of searching Osprey kept on coming up with very little complaint, I then needed to work out what size I needed as my sleeping bag and tent aren't the most compact, I worked out the volume of my largest items and concluded that the 58 litre would be big enough to carry all including, sleeping pad, food, water, camera etc. I also wanted something that fitted in with the rest of my olive green setup, so I didn't want dayglow colours, I wanted something discreet, this is is perfect
