 These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out. That'S kind of what it looks like i really like the shape the shapes a little bit more like this

 They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 I dig it laptop in the back here laptop in the back now. This is something we're probably gon na have to talk about, so i don't know how big your laptops are. This is a 13-inch macbook, air and uh. It fits like, like i mean, there's like, maybe that much space there

Laptop compartment does not fit 15 inches laptop ... maybe 14 inches laptop will fit, my lenovo x390 is okay, but msi gs65 does not fit, not even close

I would say if the laptop compartment can really fit my MSI GS-65, it would be the perfect Ruck

with laptop sleeve in the main compartment is okay (a little tight), but than there is no false bottom protection for it

So very nice bag not exactly like the gr1 little subtle differences.  But still you get this deeper rook for maybe deeper items that, whatever you carried, maybe a larger camera bag that you're going to throw in here some other items. They just want that deeper size. This would be the right size for you important to note, though. The big difference between this and a gr1 is the lack of the frame sheet

 So that's just something to point out again: just an all-around carry bag. I would not recommend putting steel plates in it if you were going to use steel plates i'd go with a rucker for sure, but if you were crazy enough to just want to get one bag and use it for everything and have that bomb proof pocket, you Could put a plate in here show a picture here of what that looks like how much gap you have to put a steel plate. I put the 20 pounder in there just to show you how big that would fit the 30 pounder would fit uh and it again it fits just fine, there's a little bit of a play in there, but not much, and i wouldn't recommend putting in the elastic Pocket because it's just going to fly out, crush whatever results is in there, maybe even slide up the hitch in the heads, and it's also rain proof. So, just like all the other goruck bags, um the material and the quality, is just fantastic and it's a rainproof bag

 It'S essentially a little bit deeper than the gr1 and a little bit shorter. The dimensions, if you care, are posted right here you can see the dimensions, it's only a half inch, uh different and some of the dimensions and it's really taller. Osprey Radial is a sturdy pack. I have used it almost every single day to commute around the city and run errands for over 2 years with no visible wear and tear.

Hi all

I'm looking for a 30-35l backpack to use for daily commute by motorcycle and light travel.

 Since I'll be using it while commuting I'm looking for a durable and water-resistant bag. I don't want something that needs a cover to be water-resistant enough during light to medium rainfall. Preferably a bag that has a sternum strap, if there is a waist strap I'd prefer it to be detachable. I'm trying to get a pack that can hold gym clothes + shoes, towel, 15 inch laptop, mouse and keyboard, chargers, water bottle, headphones.

So far my favourite option is the Patagonia Black Hole 32, it seems to be a great size for what I intend to use the bag for, looks durable, solid company and the black hole line looks to be pretty popular with satisfied users. My only 'worries' are the accessibility of the laptop compartment for daily use and how water-resistant the zippers are.

Any other recommendations that would fit my needs are very welcomed or if you happen to have the black hole 32 or any of the other products from the black hole line I'd love to hear your experiences.

Recommendations for 30-35l backpack for motorcycle commute and light travel

 Let's run through it from the bottom to the top. but we're gonna talk about the specs first. So this pack right here measures twenty point four, nine inches high. It's thirteen point seven, nine inches wide and it can expand out to eleven point eight two inches

 You know one thing that I really enjoy about this bag. There's no straps on the side of this bag and that's one thing that I just kind of looked at and saw that as missing on this bag was not missing. it's just not included in the design is there's no straps so there's no you know unbuckling to get into your main sectional your admin section. So I just like I like that feature that you know they've just removed and kind of design the bag so it's already kind of compressed down so that that's very enjoyable and something I just kind of you know, overlooked

 Very impressed with their pack starting on the bottom Man, they start off with some great stuff already on the bottom. When you open this pack up, it's got a little zipper down here at the bottom. Then you get to a rain fly that Osprey includes. So this is what I'm talking about

 so I gotta have that store. my tech Central's in there and then you could have on the back panel of this bag a computer or laptop compartment with the velcro right? No, no fleece but it's padded up really well and it is suspended off the bottom. So I was a easily able to fit in my 15-inch Dell XPS gasps. but you have the laptop compartment and then also a documents sleeve and this little organizer right here in the back

Osprey Radial: Epic Bike Commuter & Everyday Carry Backpack

I purchased this pack to replace the Radial 34 model before this one. This is the 3rd version of the Radial I own (2 of the 34’s and a 35). I primarily use this for travel, going to the office, and short overnight trips. I like the features of the cycling version, as I can also use this to hit a grocery store on my bike

 * Adjustable strap for the shoulder for better resting on your back (a reason why I purchased) * Adjustable height button for shoulder strap. (Nice feature that is kind of hidden until you look at it) * Side shove it zip pocket is very handy * Mesh support to keep the bag off your back is nice. It provides airflow. * Sternum strap is nice

 (really nice to know it is there in a heavy storm) * Zipper extenders are a nice touch. They seem durable. * Adjustable strap for the shoulder for better resting on your back (a reason why I purchased) * Adjustable height button for shoulder strap. (Nice feature that is kind of hidden until you look at it) * Side shove it zip pocket is very handy * Mesh support to keep the bag off your back is nice

 It provides airflow. * Sternum strap is nice. (A must for me. All 3 of the bags I own have this) * Waste strap to further secure it

Features are not executed well with this version

 -It stands upright on it’s own. -Expansion is a nice option. -Zippers are solid. -Minimal hip flaps are better than anything larger

The shape is nice; it’s more square than other Osprey packs. This lends itself to packing better for me because I like to use pouches and cubes, and I like the look. I personally would prefer it to be a little smaller though. I use it as an EDC/personal carry on item when flying and it’s larger than I need for an EDC and doesn’t quite fit the personal item dimensions

 -Zippers are solid. -Minimal hip flaps are better than anything larger. -The organization pocket is laid out nicely. -Laptop with separate file/tablet space is good to have

  Cons -I’d prefer a little smaller (18 or 20l expanding to around 25l). -Lockable zippers, at least on the main compartment, would be nice. -A separate zipper to access the laptop compartment would work much better. As it is the material blocks access, especially when packed

3.5 Stars - The revised Osprey Radial (expandable from 26-34l) is nice, and not just for cycling

I experienced no discomfort at the shoulders nor hips while wearing the pack on a 4 hour hike with 2500' (760m) of elevation gain. 

The pack is just below the maximum possible size for airplane carry-on bags, which is great because I'm a fan of avoiding the checked luggage whenever possible. 

The kickstand frame allows the pack to stand up if you load it properly (heavy stuff near your back), which is cute. It is also comfortable, which is imperative. The adjustable-length straps are well padded, and feel well built/sewn overall. If you ride with drop handlebars and have a shorter neck like I do, the back of your helmet may hit the top of the pack when you look far ahead

Not just a bike commuter pack...

 Now, if you decide to buy this backpack, I think that this is the backpack for you.  So there's a large pocket on the back very close to the back panel. That is great for electronics, so you've got a really wide, really good spot to slide a laptop or other electronic. Here it is padded, it is reinforced, so you get protection for those items in front of that there is a scratch free, sunglass pocket. So that's a great place to store your shades or other electronics that you don't want to get damaged

 This pack actually has an elastic band that runs through that allows for maximum flexibility and movement in the pack. So if you pull on that or if you're moving with the pack on its going to flex it's going to work with you to mimic your movement, it's really convenient. It'S really nice very comfortable for that motion. So for those bike commuters or those very active commuters, there's also some adjustment for that

 So if you don't need it, you can store it in the pack or leave it at home, but it is there in case you need that extra security moving around to the front of the pack we'll take a look at some of the access points and pockets. So this pack is built for commuters, so it does have some commuter specific pockets, one being a laptop pocket. So there's a large pocket on the back very close to the back panel. That is great for electronics, so you've got a really wide, really good spot to slide a laptop or other electronic
