 You need three rows for that to work out, but inside dimensions are the same about a half inch different on the height and width, and then the depth is significantly shallower and again this is a 20 liter bag. This is a 21 liter size. So that's pretty again, if you're a shorter frame again, i'm five, nine, and so the gr1 size really fits me perfectly. But this is gon na, be a great camera bag based off of its size and versatility, and it's a little bigger than the bullet 15 liter by about six liters

 I use as my quick access pocket. What I do is the zippers on the front. I try and keep them anywhere towards the top. So, on the go, if I need to open it grab what I need and close it back up, the laura mesh pocket has my electronics pouch

 Is the laptop sleeve like I said this isn't EDC and it was designed as an EDC, so it does have a laptop pocket like all garlic bags to access it. You have to flip the straps back, I'm lucky enough, where I don't need to use this as a laptop of pocket. I actually have a back frame that evenly distributes the weight of the bag. The bag empty is already close to three pounds

 This bag is between 21 and 24 liters. I personally tend to think it falls along the 24 litre and it definitely holds more than some of my 19 or 20 liter backpacks. This bag is made from a thousand D Cordura and, like all the go rock backpacks, it has the slanted front flat pocket and the line of moly at the bottom. I did get a chance to use this bag for a little while before New York and New Jersey completely shut down, as I still had to go to work

 This is not a brown paper bag. It'S actually a packing cube um. This is a packing cube. I generally take with me when I stay at my boyfriend's house, so it has a weekend, maybe a third or fourth day's worth of clothes inside that packing cube

 The bottom is flat, so i think packed out this bag will stand up on its own.  They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out

I'Ve got my hand sanitizer, so i can put my hand sanitizer in the other mesh guy there then i have my wallet, which is this daybreaker wallet from wayfinder. Carry that i really like and i'll just stick it in the mesh guy on the other side and then we're rolling and zipping that up front pocket now

 Or does that matter? I don't know, let's look at the back. Actually it does we'll talk about in a minute. The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see

 The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see. Um the back panel itself, um, it's just slightly longer here, but it's basically the same thing. That does make a difference later, though, when we talk about laptops and how laptops work in here, but aside from that um that are those are the only exterior differences that you can see

The color design is much improved and looks exceptionally good. Osprey builds some amazing packs. I have a Talon 36 and an Osprey Aether 60 as well and have only complements for the fit and comfort.

The Osprey Talon 22 is the Cadillac of day packs. It is supremely adjustable for a precise fit and holds enough for winter season excursions into the backcountry, full rain gear, down jacket and pants just in case. The frame sheet is very supportive so this will handle a good load of water and all the food I need. It hugs my back and rides so well I just forget about it while hiking rough routes and off trail explorations

Slim, comfortable and excellent fit

I received the pack and was impressed by the quality of build and its features, with one glaring exception; the hip belt is way too small. FYI, I have a 40 inch waist, not slim by any means, but a size that is accommodated bu most packs on the market sized M/L. With the Talon 22, wearing a tee shirt and shorts, I was barely able to buckle the hip belt. This is unusual in that I have many packs and have never had this issue in one sized M/L

 It's simplicity. I like a bag that has many features, but looks simple and not overcomplicated with a so many compartments. This bag has one big main compartment for everything. Inside the main compartment is a small zippered mesh pouch for loose items

Excellent Backpack for a lot of situations

 I don’t carry a lot in th summer: lunch, maybe a jacket, small first aid. But in the winter the extra clothes will fit easily.  Great bag, it’s my third osprey bag and although there not ultra light I like what you get for the weight.

 I wanted quality but not too heavy, and ventilation is big for me. I often hike 10-20 miles and I want to be comfortable. The bag has great functionality including hip pockets, hiking pole straps, and straps for various clip on items.  Ventilation is great, the back webbing helps negate a lot of moisture ( but not all) and the shoulder straps have great ventilation too

 You can attach those poles and loop them through the gear loop here. So when you're doing big hikes - and you need to tuck those poles away to quickly do a rocky scramble. You can go, pulls free and just leave your poles right. There you've also got a lid lock attachment on the front

 The pack works really well. This flexible suspension system has definitely gotten better, as time has gone on. The Talon 22 has a softer mesh that provides enhanced next to skin comfort and a nearly seamless hip belt. That really provides a nice body hugging fit behind that open mesh back panel

 You can install a reservoir there. It makes it really easy to refill and maintain access to that reservoir. The reservoir itself is sold separately, it's not in, but it's definitely a worthwhile accessory. There'S also a slot at the bottom of the front of the pack here for a blinker light attachment if you've got one of those so for day, hikes commuting around town carrying your gear to and from the gym or even long days

, So you have got a really stretchy nice pocket there easy to throw lightweight layer in or some wet clothing to gloves or something along those lines.. We have got who stretchy mesh side pockets with inside out compression, and that just means you can route the compression strap under the pocket like I have here or over, like I have got on this side so that inside out compression is pretty nice.

 And you have got real-ly good size throughout the entire capacity of the bag.. So it is 22 liters, but you do get a lot of capacity with that. One expansive opening really nice there

Let’s take a look at its variety of features.

I am going to turn the pack around and start
with the suspension system.

With the Talon 22 we are using a super light
Airscape Suspension System.

So I will open it up and show off the back
panel there.

There is no aluminum in this bag, keeps it
super light, but you do have a nice flexible

frame sheet in there to give you some protection
and a little bit of rigidity in the pack.

So you have got a really nice Air-scape system
here, breathable mesh with this ridged foam

So you have got really nice features and a
really nice feel on the backpack and it stays

nice and flexible, so you can move with it
and it moves with you, so for those times

when you are out on long mountain bike days
or super fast and light day hikes, this pack

It is going to let you move very easily, while
being very breathable.

You have got really lightweight shoulder straps
here with kind of dye cut foam.

There is lots of perfora-tions in this foam
to enhance the breathability.

And they are super light and flexible as well,
so you can move, again, very easily with those.

You get the same feature I the hip belt here,
very nice, breathable mesh with that perforated

foam, so breathability and lightweight is
definitely the idea behind the Talon 22.

Got a lot of other features in the suspension
area.

We have got some hip belt pockets down here.

They are kind of oversized mesh hip belt pockets.

You can easily get items in there like a phone,
granola bars, snacks, anything like that,

any items you may want to get to quickly.

You have got some stow on the go trekking
pole attachment here.

So when you are not using your poles, if you
choose to bring them along, you can stow them

Sliding sternum strap with buckle and an emergency
whistle built in on that ster-num strap, so

And you have also got this nice little pocket
here.

You can throw some gels in there if you are
doing an adventure race or a multi tool if

you need that quickly, so a nice little pocket
there.

You do have a hydration compatible system
as well.

So on the back panel there is this little
H20 tab.

And you have actually got kind of a separated
sleeve between the suspen-sion system and

So right here there is this separated sleeve
and you can easily route up to a three liter

hydration system in there and there is a clip
to hang it so it doesn’t fall to the bottom.

That hydration system is not included, but
it is compati-ble with the Talon 22.

Another nice feature about this suspension
system is that it is adjustable.

So it comes in sizes small/medium or medium/large
and you can adjust the harness measurement

or the torso measurement to fit you properly.

You have got a real-ly cool little Velcro
system here and all you have to do is kind

of break away that Velcro or pull it away
and then you have got easy adjustment in the

You have got these little lines here and they
are just the measurement lines.

So you can move the harness up or down depending
on your torso size and real dial in that fit

So good adjustment fits a multitude of sizes.

Turning the pack back around we will take
a look at how we access it and some of the

So this pack really only has two main pockets.

So you open that guy up you have got really
good size here.

You have got easy access to a first aid kit
or something along those lines, a smaller

item you may want to ac-cess a little more
quickly.

You do have a key clip in there as well, so
the keys don’t get lost, so a nice small

And the main pocket there is just simply one
big ac-cess point to this bag.

So you have got kind of a storm flap covering
this zipper so it is nice and protected.

And if you open that up it is just a really
sizable panel loading back-pack.

So I have got some items in here, just a down
jacket on top.

And you have got real-ly good size throughout
the entire capacity of the bag.

So it is 22 liters, but you do get a lot of
capacity with that one expansive opening,

You can fit a lot of items for those day adventures,
those mountain bike trips, you know, even

lightweight climbing trips if you just need
a sport rack and some draws, harness, et cetera,

On the exterior we have got some cool features.

We have got a lid lock clip for your hel-met.

So you have got really nice easy attachment
for your helmet if you get off the trail,

off the bike and you want to grab a bite to
eat or something along those lines.

You can just stow your helmet right there.

We have got a stretch mesh front pocket for
additional layers or other items.

So you have got a really stretchy nice pocket
there, easy to throw lightweight layer in

or some wet clothing to gloves or something
along those lines.

We have got who stretchy mesh side pockets
with inside out compression and that just

means you can route the compression strap
under the pocket like I have here or over

like I have got on this side, so that inside
out compression is pretty nice.

We have also got a tool loop at the bottom,
just one tool loop with a bungee tie off here.

So you have got a really neat feature with
that tool loop.

You can easily hold on to an ice axe or mountaineering
axe if you are doing a lightweight excursion

in the alpine environ-ment, so a nice additional
bonus there.

It is a great, multi functional daypack for
adventures from long days on the mountain

bike to climbing trips, to adventure racing
and more.
