 You need three rows for that to work out, but inside dimensions are the same about a half inch different on the height and width, and then the depth is significantly shallower and again this is a 20 liter bag. This is a 21 liter size. So that's pretty again, if you're a shorter frame again, i'm five, nine, and so the gr1 size really fits me perfectly. But this is gon na, be a great camera bag based off of its size and versatility, and it's a little bigger than the bullet 15 liter by about six liters

 I use as my quick access pocket. What I do is the zippers on the front. I try and keep them anywhere towards the top. So, on the go, if I need to open it grab what I need and close it back up, the laura mesh pocket has my electronics pouch

 Is the laptop sleeve like I said this isn't EDC and it was designed as an EDC, so it does have a laptop pocket like all garlic bags to access it. You have to flip the straps back, I'm lucky enough, where I don't need to use this as a laptop of pocket. I actually have a back frame that evenly distributes the weight of the bag. The bag empty is already close to three pounds

 This bag is between 21 and 24 liters. I personally tend to think it falls along the 24 litre and it definitely holds more than some of my 19 or 20 liter backpacks. This bag is made from a thousand D Cordura and, like all the go rock backpacks, it has the slanted front flat pocket and the line of moly at the bottom. I did get a chance to use this bag for a little while before New York and New Jersey completely shut down, as I still had to go to work

 This is not a brown paper bag. It'S actually a packing cube um. This is a packing cube. I generally take with me when I stay at my boyfriend's house, so it has a weekend, maybe a third or fourth day's worth of clothes inside that packing cube

 They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out

Carry that i really like and i'll just stick it in the mesh guy on the other side and then we're rolling and zipping that up front pocket now

 Or does that matter? I don't know, let's look at the back. Actually it does we'll talk about in a minute. The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see

 The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see. Um the back panel itself, um, it's just slightly longer here, but it's basically the same thing. That does make a difference later, though, when we talk about laptops and how laptops work in here, but aside from that um that are those are the only exterior differences that you can see

I recently bought a Trail 25 as a medium sized day pack. I have had a chance to load it out and take it for a short 5 mile wander.

In the end I am happy with the purchase. The pack suits my packing style, is comfortable and seems like it should last a while while being a reasonably priced item.

 A wide opening main body that thankfully lacks the over abundance of pockets common in bags of its volume. For a day hike I want a simple bag that I can pull my kit from my larger multi-day bag. The basic design eliminates that "now which pocket did I put that in" search for a beanie or what ever. With that said the limited pockets are perfect for my first-aid kit, head-lamp, toggle cord, water bottle(s), water purifier, sit pad, poncho, bug-dope, and navigation

Nearly Perfect Day Pack

This is for all of you big guys out there.  I'm a big guy  6ft with the profile of a grizzly. I like this pack. It is very comfortable

 I don't use the waist strap.  It rides very well even when I have one water bottle on one side.  I usually carry a soft fleece jacket, windbreaker or rain jacket, first aid kit, and other items, in case I needed to spend a night in the wild. It makes a great day pack for hiking

Great pack for big guys.

 This pack is straight up Goldie Locks porridge; this one is just right. It has enough storage without being huge. It’s light yet rugged and has everything you need. Buy it and thank me later

This is a nice pack!

The zipper on the main compartment is an excellent design for getting things in and out. Additionally, the pockets on the sides, inside, and 'door' work great for all of my storage needs without being too much. Additionally, the loops that run down the outside, and the straps on the bottom are great for storage and for attaching things. The durability is pretty good, there is virtually little wear from daily use, and it's held up with I've crashed my OneWheel on the road

Excellent Bag For Every Situation

 But I realized I needed more space when carrying more stuff sometimes. This includes times when I'm not solo and I'm carrying stuff for 2 people or for winter activity when I/we want to have some extra layers. I knew REI had a good selection of small pack sizes so I went back to them. The Flash 22 is too close in size so I went for this Trail 25

 That worked, but it's also nice to not have a soaked bag. The straps are great, just exactly what you'd want for a bit more load. The mesh pocket on the inside of the lid works quite well, and so do the hydration features. Just keep in mind it's mostly a one-compartment pack

 I knew REI had a good selection of small pack sizes so I went back to them. The Flash 22 is too close in size so I went for this Trail 25.

There was a really thin waist belt strap on it when I bought it, but it's basically worthless. It sits way too high, but even if it was in the correct location on your body, it's too thin to be comfortable if you tighten it enough to use it to support any kind of weight. I took it off. 

 Shoulder straps are pretty comfortable, there's compression straps on the outside to help keep everything stable, sternum strap. There's a picket at the bottom with a rain cover folded up inside. 

Decent pack

I really like my REI trail 25. Serves as my work/class bag, day trip bag, and plane carry on

I'm looking for recommendations for a backpack that I can use to ski with and take on small wilderness trips to a nearby forrest. I like the idea of a backpack that I can pretty much just throw on the ground and in the snow without having to worry about it tearing and such.

On skiing trips, I would probably throw in some clothes, extra gloves, a thermos and a first aid kit. On hiking daytrips, I would throw in my firestarteing gear, folding saw, hatchet and some food, so I'm probably looking at 20-25 liters.

Brands that I've looked at are Mystery Ranch, Arc'teryx and Black Diamond, would love any recommendations with these, but I'm open to new ones!
