Targus Drifter II

(1/1)

This backpack is huge. As a one-hour a day commuter, five days a week to my college campus, I needed something that could hold all my stuff, books, notebooks, calculator, laptop, papers, pencils, pens, erasers, headphones, sunglasses, stapler, flash drives, water bottle(s), gym clothes, mouse, power cables, etc..

Zipper

Targus Drifter II

(1/1)

I bought this Targus backpack to replace my previous Targus backpack that - after 11 years - developed an issue with the zipper. Within a few weeks of receiving the new Targus backpack the fabric around the zipper frayed resulting in two holes. I have never seen anything so poorly made. I am especially disappointed because my last Targus Backpack lasted 11 years!!! AND, you only have a limited time to return for a refund (which I missed)

Laptop

Targus Drifter II

(1/1)

I ordered this laptop to replace the last one I had for a few years. I enjoyed using it for all my needs and while I wish the handle had lasted longer I was happy with it overall. I went online and ordered another one. I was going out of town for a very important trip and started to get it ready only to find a number of odd things in it

Compartment

Targus Drifter II

(1/3)

1 in each mesh pocket and 1 in each zippered pocked behind said mesh pocket. These (usually 16in) are at office depot locations (check stock on their website) if you want to see in person (for a much higher price of course). ***This review has nothing to do with durability as I just got the backpack***

Strap

Targus Drifter II

(1/2)

It would almost serve better to cut the material out between the two pockets and use the zipper as a smaller access for the main compartment…or just do what I have and not use it. Either way. I guess if you want to add to the con pile I’ll talk about the wear and tear. So, on my bag the stitching on the shoulder straps is giving up the goose
