Zipper

The North Face Recon Pack - Women's

(1/1)

This is my second north face backpack and I love that I got this one cheaper than the first. The only thing is that the inside zipper is the matte silver metalic colour and I wish it was the rose gold colour. I dont mind because its in the inside though.

Laptop

The North Face Recon Pack - Women's

(1/1)

The big pocket in the front is a perfect size for my surface and there's still plenty of room in the back compartment for a laptop (which is not pictured bc I left it at home). The only warning I have is if you put a black external hard drive make sure you remember where you put it. It can be hard to find it again if you forgot what part of the bag you put it in. I speak from experience! I only wish it had more breathable area since I live in Austin and it gets hot down here (like over 100 degrees hot!) and that it came in a dark green that is my school's color

Compartment

The North Face Recon Pack - Women's

(1/2)

Next up is the front compartment, where there’s more granular organization. From front to back, there are two mesh pockets, two liner pockets and a pen pocket, a wide zippered pocket, and a tablet pocket at the very back—a nice variety to have for different tech accessories. The compartment doesn’t extend all the way to the bottom of the bag. This is a good thing because it balances out the usable space between the different compartments, and we don’t have to fish too deeply in case something falls in

Strap

The North Face Recon Pack - Women's

(1/1)

My only complaint was the straps were stiff and too short as well as too close together. This made the small chest strap fit awkwardly, although I did like that it was able to slide up and down to adjust where it hit. The hip support straps also seem kinda like an afterthought instead of an intentional part of the design. They were thin, less than an inch wide with a small buckle
