Due to the bag's design forces the user to have to carry the bag high and tight to the body. Full loose side shoulder/relaxed back bag positions feel highly awkward as the padded strap is non-adjustable. - disappointing storage space: on timbuk2's website it lists the bag as 17L for the medium. Compared to my other bag the Arc'teryx Granville 16 Courier, it pales in comparison as I can comfortably fit a lot more in that 16L rated bag than this
Another improvement I would make is to make the side zipper at an angle that would permit access to the laptop pocket, not to the general main pocket as the current design is laid out.
At 28L, the Tech Roll Top Backpack is not advertised as a travel backpack. It’s been specifically built for “the daily grind.” That said, you can definitely take it on smaller excursions and, if you’re a minimalist, use it as a full-on travel backpack.
To point out the obvious, these pockets are for your small accessories. Wireless headphones, keys (if they’re slim), dongles, a good luck charm, things of that nature.
Plus a small pocket for small stuff like keys, earphones, etc. I love the bag so much I ended up using it even when I don't plan on going to the gym. My only complain is that I think the straps are placed too close to each other. It actually starts to strain my shoulder right at the bottom of my neck
