 You need three rows for that to work out, but inside dimensions are the same about a half inch different on the height and width, and then the depth is significantly shallower and again this is a 20 liter bag. This is a 21 liter size. So that's pretty again, if you're a shorter frame again, i'm five, nine, and so the gr1 size really fits me perfectly. But this is gon na, be a great camera bag based off of its size and versatility, and it's a little bigger than the bullet 15 liter by about six liters

 I use as my quick access pocket. What I do is the zippers on the front. I try and keep them anywhere towards the top. So, on the go, if I need to open it grab what I need and close it back up, the laura mesh pocket has my electronics pouch

 Is the laptop sleeve like I said this isn't EDC and it was designed as an EDC, so it does have a laptop pocket like all garlic bags to access it. You have to flip the straps back, I'm lucky enough, where I don't need to use this as a laptop of pocket. I actually have a back frame that evenly distributes the weight of the bag. The bag empty is already close to three pounds

 This bag is between 21 and 24 liters. I personally tend to think it falls along the 24 litre and it definitely holds more than some of my 19 or 20 liter backpacks. This bag is made from a thousand D Cordura and, like all the go rock backpacks, it has the slanted front flat pocket and the line of moly at the bottom. I did get a chance to use this bag for a little while before New York and New Jersey completely shut down, as I still had to go to work

 This is not a brown paper bag. It'S actually a packing cube um. This is a packing cube. I generally take with me when I stay at my boyfriend's house, so it has a weekend, maybe a third or fourth day's worth of clothes inside that packing cube

 The bottom is flat, so i think packed out this bag will stand up on its own.  They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out

I'Ve got my hand sanitizer, so i can put my hand sanitizer in the other mesh guy there then i have my wallet, which is this daybreaker wallet from wayfinder. Carry that i really like and i'll just stick it in the mesh guy on the other side and then we're rolling and zipping that up front pocket now

 Or does that matter? I don't know, let's look at the back. Actually it does we'll talk about in a minute. The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see

 The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see. Um the back panel itself, um, it's just slightly longer here, but it's basically the same thing. That does make a difference later, though, when we talk about laptops and how laptops work in here, but aside from that um that are those are the only exterior differences that you can see

  Has many varied-sized pockets that can be used to tuck items into; laptop fits well in compartment. This is a practical size for my rather petite frame. Overall, satisfied with this product.

Looking for a clamshell style backpack, between 30 and 40L. I want something that has some style, a little less backpacker-y, a little less REI. Initially was planning on doing the 2 month trip to Europe with my Everlane ReNew Transit Bag (27L), but I think it’s gonna be a tad too small and though I love it for short trips, it doesn’t work as well for me when packed full. 

Clamshell Style Backpack Recs (between 30 and 40L) under 200 bucks?

* Hip belt: I've read on here that hip belts aren't really that helpful, especially if the bag isn't suited to your frame (which it certainly won't be), but I've used the one on my LLBean Stowaway while hiking, and I've appreciated even the modest amount of help.

* Front organizational pocket: a separate pocket to fit medications, snacks, smaller chargers, keys etc.

* Volume/size: 25 - 30L. I'd like anything that can reasonably fit under the seat on a US flight, while still having the volume for a 3-7 day trip. I know some of the bags I'm looking at don't strictly meet the personal item dimensions of airlines, but I've traveled with a backpacks larger than the acceptable dimensions before and have been fine.

I've been lurking for a while but I am relatively new to one-bagging. I come from using a carry-on rolling suitcase for most trips, but I would like to transition to a personal-sized backpack when I can. I am not looking so much for a bag that I can carry around long-term while traveling, just something that would make getting to and from my destination a little easier.

 If you wanted to take two bags and just kind of make it a little bit more streamlined after you've tucked the straps away, if you want to use this as a shoulder bag or a sling bag, there is a really nice strap included with the bag. It attaches using these really durable metallic clips and there's these hypalon type loops on the side, but make it very easy to convert this into the shoulder bag and now, with the strap attached. I really like the unique design. It'S nice at the padded area is really long, so you have a lot of leeway and flexibility and how you can rest this on your shoulders, so, whether you're wearing it crossbody or just like a normal shoulder bag

 Currently, what I have in here is just my 13 inch touch bar MacBook Pro, so plenty of left over space here. This would definitely hold up to a 15 inch laptop. It also comes up a nice amount, so if you have a thicker device, it should be able to fit in here, okay and so pulling my laptop out now with the compartment empty, you can get a better look at the inside no sort of fleece lining to Prevent against scratching - and it was a little bit disappointed with how flimsy this sleep is. I would have liked to have seen some more rigidity to provide that extra bit of protection

 They also have a pretty good width to prevent the bag from digging into my shoulders when it's completely filled out, but I do wish that they had been just a little bit thicker. One note on the straps is that they don't include any sort of a sternum strap, but it does seem like you can attach one if you want that extra bit of support to help, distribute the weight and then moving on to the back paneling there's not a Whole lot going on here, the bag hasn't been uncomfortable to wear, but it doesn't have any sort of padding any sort of mesh or elevation to help prevent moisture from building up. So you are wearing this for a longer period of time. Your back is gon na get pretty sweaty quickly, so I would have liked to have seen just a little bit of padding here or just something to make it a little bit more comfortable you're using it as a backpack

 Look that big on the flap of this main area, there's two simple mesh slip: pockets here I like that these are a little bit larger to allow you to hold some taller items, and so currently, what I have in here is just a full size, moleskin notebook And then I also have my bag, smart, cable organizer, which has some of my dongles and cables, and just makes it very easy to keep everything in one place that fits in here very perfectly. I love how much space is offered by these slit pockets here. This would have been a good spot to maybe put some underwear and socks if I didn't want to place them into that larger packing cube, and then it's nice that these compartments just kind of lay flat when you don't want to use them. So, just really nice layout, all around in this main area, like the minimal organizational options that have been provided and just how much I was able to fit in here

Topo Designs Global Briefcase 3 Day Review - Convertible and Durable 23L Travel and EDC Bag

 So I really like having these to be able to pull the weight really close to my back. Thankfully, the bag doesn't stick out too much regardless, but having that extra ability to tweak how you're carrying it is very helpful and so at the bottom, the straps have these clips, which allow you to remove them and store them in this little compartment. Here, if you want to reduce the amount of straps that you're carrying or if you want to use the bag like a briefcase or a shoulder bag, or if you need to check it or anything like that, this is going to help reduce the amount of straps. So it's very easy to remove the clips they're very sturdy, and so you can tuck those away

 While you're wearing them and then moving on to the straps on the back paneling, I really like the straps that were used here on the bag. They feel very thick and well padded. They have a nice meshing material on the inside to help prevent moisture build-up and help keep air flowing. I really like how soft the straps are so really comfortable

 So nice amount of space offered here. I'Ve complained in the past with bags like the air travel pack too, that have this kind of front admin compartment with lots of pockets and organization when they don't open flat. It'S really hard to take full advantage of the bottom of the bag, because it's a deep compartment being able to lay it out flat, allows you to use every inch of it as opposed to when you're trying to squeeze in and reach down and grab stuff. From a deep compartment, so love the implementation here

 I try to pack flat too so everything's like nicely flat inside and not too not too bulky, and then I have this little anchor. You know dongle, which, if you have a MacBook Pro, you probably have one too, because USBC is just not quite adopted yet so hoping to get rid of a lot of this stuff once they move over to us BC, a hundred percent and then the James brand. It'S still well collapsible pen as well love that that's really small, so everything fits really nicely inside of those topo designs accessory bags. Like I said prior there, you have it

 So it's one of the smallest ones that I've ever been able to find, and then you know just smaller stuff, like micro. Usb to USB C, although I don't think I'm really gon na - have to carry this around anymore. Since most things are now being ported to USB C, which I can really appreciate. Mini flash drive as well very small, so kind of keeps smaller items in here as needed, just to kind of keep them a little more organized and typically I'll have like a couple other items on the inside here, I'm just using a couple right now, so I Don'T have everything in there, but then this I will typically slide right into here

 If you want to attach it to anything so and then the micro size very similar, these ones are made in the US, these ones are a little bit older. I don't know where they're at now, so just if that's important to you just make sure to check before I no topo move some of their stuff outside of the US so similar size here and interior there. So I'll just show you kind of how I have these packed up now. Typically, I will take this a micro and put it inside of this small one like that and inside of here I have really small tech items, so I have a USBC to us

 There are larger sizes as well. I believe there is one larger size called the medium and I like the medium size to kind of keep a bulkier laptop charger inside and managed. However, this small and micro size is what we're gon na be focusing on in this look, and I'm just gon na kind of show you how I have these filled out, so a bunch of different colorways. We have this kind of green color up here
