 You need three rows for that to work out, but inside dimensions are the same about a half inch different on the height and width, and then the depth is significantly shallower and again this is a 20 liter bag. This is a 21 liter size. So that's pretty again, if you're a shorter frame again, i'm five, nine, and so the gr1 size really fits me perfectly. But this is gon na, be a great camera bag based off of its size and versatility, and it's a little bigger than the bullet 15 liter by about six liters

 I use as my quick access pocket. What I do is the zippers on the front. I try and keep them anywhere towards the top. So, on the go, if I need to open it grab what I need and close it back up, the laura mesh pocket has my electronics pouch

 Is the laptop sleeve like I said this isn't EDC and it was designed as an EDC, so it does have a laptop pocket like all garlic bags to access it. You have to flip the straps back, I'm lucky enough, where I don't need to use this as a laptop of pocket. I actually have a back frame that evenly distributes the weight of the bag. The bag empty is already close to three pounds

 This bag is between 21 and 24 liters. I personally tend to think it falls along the 24 litre and it definitely holds more than some of my 19 or 20 liter backpacks. This bag is made from a thousand D Cordura and, like all the go rock backpacks, it has the slanted front flat pocket and the line of moly at the bottom. I did get a chance to use this bag for a little while before New York and New Jersey completely shut down, as I still had to go to work

 This is not a brown paper bag. It'S actually a packing cube um. This is a packing cube. I generally take with me when I stay at my boyfriend's house, so it has a weekend, maybe a third or fourth day's worth of clothes inside that packing cube

 The bottom is flat, so i think packed out this bag will stand up on its own.  They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out

Carry that i really like and i'll just stick it in the mesh guy on the other side and then we're rolling and zipping that up front pocket now

 Or does that matter? I don't know, let's look at the back. Actually it does we'll talk about in a minute. The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see

 The back. The straps are essentially the same from what i can see. Um the back panel itself, um, it's just slightly longer here, but it's basically the same thing. That does make a difference later, though, when we talk about laptops and how laptops work in here, but aside from that um that are those are the only exterior differences that you can see

WANDRD PRVKE 21L | It’s a different size this time, but the important features are still there.

WANDRD PRVKE 21L | A camera cube is necessary for organizing and protecting camera gear.

The thickness of the shoulder padding is simply dwarfed by what’s on the back panel. The amount of padding here is enough to make some bus seats blush; thus, a good amount of the credit for the carrying comfort of the PRVKE 21L is owed to the back panel. The only downside is that because of how thick the foam panels are, the luggage pass-through is a bit tight to use, especially when the backpack’s fully packed.

Wandrd Prvke is amazingly comfortable though. You really don’t feel the weight IMO. Also they can be picked up on eBay for very reasonable prices.

So I've spent the last 2 days researching backpack non-stop. I'm planning on doing a 3-6 months travel next summer around SEA and possibly some Eastern Europe (go away COVID). I usually travel with a Kelty Redwing 50l bag with all of my clothes/toiletry. The Kelty usually get check-in on long haul or the overhead compartment when able. 

This bag will carry my camera (A7iii), a couple of lenses, a gimbal (Weebill-s), my MBP (16in), and a hoodie with some knick-knack.

My requirements are:

1. Be small enough to be able to fit underneath the seat.
2. Be able to fit everything listed above.
3. Not too heavy.
4. decently comfortable/durable. 
5. Doesn't scream camera backpack
6. Ideally back opening to keep the straps clean, side access at the minimum.

Seems easy enough but finding one that fits all of the criteria above has been quite difficult.

1. The Wandrd Prvke 21l checked all the boxes beside the weight and possibly a bit too small ( on the upper end of how much I am willing to pay for a bag also)
2. The Incase DSLR Pro pack doesn't seems durable/comfy.
3.Vanguard VEO SELECT 49, lack of reviews/question about durability.
4. Gitzo Advantury 30L same as the Vanguard, couldn't find much reviews on it and it is heavy just like the Wandrd.
5. Get the Deuter Freerider Pro 30 and put a camera cube in it. Not sure if my MBP16 will fit in the front pocket with my laptop sleeve. 


Does anyone know of any other bag? the Wandrd Prvke 21l seems like the best choice at this point in time but I want to explore all of my options before selling my kidney for it.

Looking for the perfect camera backpack for carry-on....

 The bag itself is on the heavy side but has been comfortable on casual hikes and the standard camera cube can hold a decent sized travel kit. I’ve used it as my photography first one bag several times, and have found it small enough to be my daypack as well.

I'm looking for a 30-45l carry-on international travel backpack. My current solution is an Osprey Ozone convertible 22" 50L that I've used both with and without the 2-in-1 day pack. On very photo oriented trips I've brought a dedicated camera bag under the seat (Incase DSLR Pro pack or Think Tank Urban Access 15").

Since many of my trips involve photography I've struggled to find a onebag or even twobag solution that allows carrying my clothes, laptop, etc and also a great quick access camera/hiking/city daypack solution. I haven't checked a bag in over a decade and I will continue to avoid to as much as possible. Even though the Ozone was over the carry-on weight limit during my flight to Amsterdam on Norwegian airlines I was able to get through without issue due to them not really paying as much attention to backpacks (I had one overhead and one under the seat. So I may be willing to risk that type of situation (slightly large/heavy bag) if it is great in every other way. Cost isn't an issue if the bag checks most boxes.

Some requirements:
-Mostly black, not flashy. Urban style preferred.
-Comfortable, hip belt, sternum strap, load lifters a plus. I'll be waiting in line at airports wearing this bag so it needs to be as supportive as possible (similar to a good hiking pack).
-Quick camera access or compatible with camera cube (or separate packable comfortable daypack with quick camera access)

Some options that look worth checking out:
-Peak Design 35l expandable to 45l travel pack. Pros: Best camera oriented travel bag? Cons: Comfort? Weight/bulk?

-Nomatic Navigator 32l expandable to 41l. Pros: Comfort, harness, design. Cons: Weight, lack of camera quick access

-Nomatic Peter McKinnon travel backpack 35l expandable to 42l. Pros: Comfort? Design, camera/tech oriented but no quick access. Cons: Weight

-Air Travel Pack 2 37l. Pros: Design, weight, comfort. Cons: Not camera oriented.

Also open to suggestions for packable daypacks, especially ones that work well with a camera cube or camera quick access. My Peak Design 5l and 10l sling bags are okay but very bulky to pack internally during flights and I much prefer backpacks to slings.

Best international carry-on photography backpack?

 It has compartmentalization so you can keep your shoes separate, has a laptop sleeve that fits my 15" MBP fine, rolltop so it can be smaller than its full size of 31L and looks good sleek enough to bring to the office and functional enough to bring backpacking. I can fit 2-3 days clothes, sleeping bag, pad and 2p tent between the compartments and the bottom straps for the tent. It's decently water-resistant by itself but comes with a duckback and dedicated pocket for that when it's not raining.

ISO my perfect bag... I'm a bike commuter, lunch break runner, weekend camper, and one bag traveler.  Is there one bag that can do it all? Something **!waterproof!**, rugged enough for weekend camping, sleek enough for the office, with a water bottle holder and a shoe compartment? Somewhere to clip in my bike helmet?

Here's my daily carry:

* nalgene water bottle 
* phone/keys/wallet
* coffee thermos
* 13" laptop (&amp; occasionally my chargers)
* bullet journal + pen
* lunch Tupperware
* running shoes
* workout shirt/shorts/socks
* pack-able rain/windbreaker

For camping/travel I say less is more.  Anything in the range of 16-25L has me a happy camper.

 The straps feel very, very soft right out of the box on the inside. They have this meshy material to help prevent moisture from building up, and then they also have a nice width to help prevent the bag from digging into my shoulders, when it's a little bit more packed out on these straps. You also have this webbing that you can use to attach accessories with something like a carabiner. I do believe that the prior version of the provoke had kind of an elastic band that was meant to pair with a lens cap, and i thought that was a really interesting addition

 So at the bottom you have it's kind of a larger longer compartment, where i tossed in this little uh kit from pete's pirate life that has some band-aids and ointment. Then i also tossed in a little manicure kit and a pen, because i didn't really have a place to put that anywhere else in the bag, and then you have two smaller pockets along the top kind of covered here by this velcro flap. You can open the compartments without moving that, and these are equally sized and again they're, not super bulky compartments, so you won't be able to put a large accessory, but it still has enough volume for some of the items that i normally like to carry with me. So in this one here on the right, i just tossed in a pair of wired headphones that i like to have in case my bluetooth, headphones run out of battery and then on the one on the left

 Much more. The padding is soft. It has the same meshy material that we saw on the strap, so it has a ton of breathability and then you have the padding nicely elevated to create these air channels to provide a lot of airflow, while you're walking around throughout the day. So really love the improvements made here and then they've also added a luggage passer to allow you to rest this on a suitcase while traveling to save some weight on your back
