 Was around $500 retail at the time but not what I paid for it. I love it and have bought a dock station to make it my main computer bc my desktop from 2012 just ain't getting it done now. Love chrome os. Love chromebooks

So I bought a 200€ Chromebook and I'm actually happy, now it's ARM based so I can't do \*that\* much with the Linux Apps,  
Now I'm thinking of buying a new one,   
the only requirements are:  


* not ARM based
* comes with a Stylus

So first of all, does anyone have any good Options with the requirements given, but also...  


Why buy a more expensive Chromebook?  
I never had any Problems with the RAM or the Storage, the Keyboard and Screen also surprisingly good...  
Why would I need more RAM? I mean, I'm not gonna do any Video editing or smth on it...

Are expensive Chromebooks worth it?

 The cheapest one (which I have) has a Celeron N4000 and appears to be priced at USD 350 in the HP store (a little outside your price limit). It seems to have auto-updates till 2026 according to the site (code name is "octopus"). It also supports a USI stylus which may or may not be included in the above price. (HP seems to have dropped this of late, so please check before buying!)

   The HP x360 Chromebook has a poorly performing eMMC storage drive overall. Its read speeds are comparatively faster than its write speeds, so it feels faster when booting and launching apps than when installing them and transferring files. However, thanks to the lightweight nature of Chrome OS, the laptop still feels smooth overall.          Capacity   40 Wh

 We couldn't run the GPU compute test because Geekbench doesn't support the proper graphics API on Chrome OS. However, we don't expect the Celeron N4020's integrated Intel UHD Graphics 600 to perform well at all in computational workloads.          Single-Thread   N/A

   Cinebench isn't compatible with Chrome OS or Linux.              CPU Render Time   52.0 min
