I promptly responded and a day later I received a follow up email with more questions, another test to run, and more images requested. I responded to that one and within minutes received a response noting they can confirm the heating element is not functioning properly and that they would be sending me a new bottom portion of my Instant Pot. Then two days later I got an email saying they are out of stock but that when in stock mine will ship and I will get notification it is on the way. you need to coordinate the amount of food with the correct time and temperature. use only silicone, bamboo, wood utensils. that way you will have your pan as new for a long time.

The booklet is not really all that handy as I spend a lot of time on line looking for recipes and specific instructions on which button combination to push for certain things but this too shall pass. Perfect for RV's. Now it does have heft to it, but maybe that's why it still is working! This review was long overdue, but it's valid, tested, and true. When R2D2 finally dies, I'll buy another Ninja. They have other versions of the product, but we'll see if I just buy this one again

Just touching that gasket transfers the smell on my hands. If you don't get rid of that smell, it seeps into the food you cook later. I do love how fast it cooks things, but if you're not careful, things will get mushy.
