 So at the moment i am using the eries et5x or something like that. I can't remember what they're called but or et5xt. To be honest, these sound better to me the personas seem to be more controlled, but these are just a lot more exciting and, like they present everything right to you to the front, i don't know how to explain it, but it's in a very good way. It'S not something that you know was fatiguing or tiring

 Never get to hear what it really sounds like just to get an idea. I have to say these are excellent, like if you're on a budget. This should be the only thing on your list and that's my truly strong opinion. I find this to be an excellent balance between all the frequencies, so great for anybody, studio, youtube, editing and even just listening to music as bookshelf speakers or even entertainment speakers for a tv but i'll definitely say their strongest point is, for you know, mixing music from Your studio, in any case guys, hopefully you enjoyed this view of the jbl's

 Like honestly, the more i sit here and the more i listen to them, the more i'm impressed and by the way guys since i am on the deck all of the hissing and whatnot else just disappeared completely.  Oh, these sound way better and you change your mind so around the same size a little bit different in price, not much at all, but hopefully this just helps. You get a better perspective and, at the end of the day, pick the right pair of studio monitors for your studio setup been feeling hopeless. Till you came around came around all this time. You'Re the only reason i'm not chasing hearts chasing eyes: [, Music ]

 And then we also have a boundary eq here that you can use to play around if you want to take out certain frequencies, have them set up a little bit better for your room, it's not close to as good as krk's or kali audios with their unique Designs, but it is something unique and then we also have a high filter trim over here that can go down minus 2 db and go up plus 2 db. When i taste these two monitors, i'm just going to keep it on zero, but it just gives you more options. If you want to fiddle around and set it up better for your specific room again, and then we have our knob here for volume feels pretty good. In terms of quality, and then we have our power input and then right at the top

 Oh, this product sounds better than this one and you might even be the person that have been looking at jbl's for the last week to months, and you thought that these were the monitors for you. But then you end up listening to these and you decide. Oh, these sound way better and you change your mind so around the same size a little bit different in price, not much at all, but hopefully this just helps. You get a better perspective and, at the end of the day, pick the right pair of studio monitors for your studio setup been feeling hopeless

If you have the money to spend on the best quality I wouldn’t recommend this, but it’s definitely a steal for the price.

Great for the price

  I've been through it all with these speakers and I think I finally have a set that I are acceptable. At least the power lights are the same. Maybe they just wore me down.  Yes I still recommend them but just be warned, something will be wrong

I'm rewriting my original review.  These sound great, perform well. The stereo imaging is incredible for the price, they have plenty of power and the clarity and bass extension is uncanny. I've tried a number of speakers on my workstation and these are my favorites

Great Sounding Near Field Monitors

 You play whatever. Whatever music you like, usually vocals are the best. It guarantees, when you're in mono that it's gon na come from the center, except when it's not. But it's there if you, if you play music in mono and it's biased

 Make that one more powerful by bringing it closer or push that one further away and I'm gon na go with push this one further away. So you just and I'm talking about like [ Applause, ], [, Music, ], perfect. How much didn't move that 3/16 of an inch? That'S when you're talking about really setting up a desk like absolute perfection, you got ta, be able to set your source to mono, and then you got to just do time and adjustments, don't adjust gains and just get everything gained the same and just go until it Shifts over then, once you have a perfect Center image through, like five or six songs, Chris different frequencies will come out of different drivers and then you'll have just you just make it so that it's like okay - and you know where the center is you're. Not you could just judge that and then once you've found it, then you could switch it out of mono and then you can enjoy your speakers until two weeks from now and you have to run that test again

 I took the HD sixes off the 750 dollar pair of HD sixes and I put the three or five PS on which I think I paid under 404. It'S like they're brand new models, so they're a little bit higher than they old there's the old LS or 305's. We'Ll talk about the shiny, we'll talk about the shiny, we'll get to the shiny. But let's talk about what happens when I put them on this desk for half the cost and then hit play and then just Oh storm on oh look

 But I have a slight speaker collection problem that my doctors are like helping me with. So when I'm done with the review, what I'm done with the sound of all these things go up for sale. So anyone is in the $ 5 or more patronage, [ __ ] range and you get to buy them, for whatever the highest bid is. If the highest bid is 100 bucks

This is the boom box to JBL's new jumbo portable bluetooth speaker. This thing is designed to put out some serious volume with thumping bass, and it certainly does that. But the question is: how does it stack up against ultimate ears? New portable beats the hyper boom. Let'S find out shall we first things: first price: these aren't cheap the boom box to lists for $ 500

 It just sounds, fuller and more dynamic, and it's top volume and has no indoor or outdoor mode. Like the original did, you can link up wirelessly to the latest JBL bluetooth speakers, but sadly you can't link to the original boombox. Now my somewhat superficial 11 year old kid saw me playing around these speakers outside and after taking a quick look, he declared that the boombox sounded better, except he hadn't really listened to them. He was more basing the sound on the looks, the speakers

 But the question is: how does it stack up against ultimate ears? New portable beats the hyper boom. The hyper boom is $ 400, but this is the type of speaker you get when you want to take the party on the go tailgating the beach. Maybe this is even the main speaker in your house or apartment

 I do like the design of the boombox and it's an excellent portable party speaker that punches out deeper bass and richer sound than the original, but the hyper booth is the better overall sounding speaker indoors and outdoors, and it does cost $ 100 less. The JBL Boombox 2 is a mid-sized speaker that's fairly suitable for most uses. Its mid and treble ranges are fairly well balanced, so it can clearly reproduce vocals and lead instruments. However, it lacks a bit of&nbsp;low bass, so you may not feel the deep thump and rumble of bass-heavy genres like EDM. Although it's fairly bulky, it's quite portable thanks to its carrying handle

 So the boosting in the lows is strong, but it tapers off a bit before it reaches the super-low subwoofer realm. The vocals on this track are delivered cleanly and clearly, without much added sibilance.

The JBL Boombox 2 is a big, portable&nbsp;Bluetooth speaker that delivers powerful bass depth and high volumes. At $499.95, it&rsquo;s also quite expensive. The speaker's boosted bass and sculpted highs likely won't appeal to purists, but fans of a big sound will enjoy its robust output

On Jay-Z and Kanye West&rsquo;s &ldquo;No Church in the Wild,&rdquo; the kick drum loop receives plenty of high-mid presence, allowing its attack to retain its punchy presence in the mix. However, the loop&rsquo;s sustain gets far more bass depth than we are used to hearing, adding some serious thump to the equation.  The only thing you gotta watch out for though is just to make sure that you don't push these radiators in. Now when it comes to tech specs, the Boombox 2 has been upgraded to Bluetooth 5.1 where as the original Boombox uses Bluetooth 4.2

 So personally I avoid using this speaker past 85% volume when in doors. But also the bass on both boomboxes doesn't increase linearly as you increase the volume. The bass on both of these speakers increases up until they hit 80% volume and then from there on out just the mids and highs get louder. So when used at high volumes, even though these speakers are blaring out a ton of mids and highs, since the physical bass isn't there to back it up these speakers sound a little shallow in my opinion

 The original Boombox used to retail for $450 when it first came out. But then its retail price got changed to $500 in mid 2019. But now the original Boombox is typically on sale for $400 these days. Where as the new Boombox 2 currently retails for $500

 And here's my problem with that, like I mentioned earlier the Boombox 2 puts an emphasis on mids and a little bit on the highs which means vocals are very pronounced. But the problem with that is that if you use this speaker at higher volumes in doors then the highs can get ear piercing at times. So personally I avoid using this speaker past 85% volume when in doors. But also the bass on both boomboxes doesn't increase linearly as you increase the volume
