JBL Live 660NC vs JBL Reflect Flow

Preferred tonal balance - Looking for a ballanced pair of headphones that aren't bass heavy. Mostly used for music and podcasts.

The Reflect Flow's mic offers solid intelligibility. Using the Voice Memos app on an iPhone 8, we could understand every word we recorded. There will still be some Bluetooth fuzziness around the edges of the audio, but the mic delivers crisp vocal communication, and doesn't sound far away.

I actually prefer the canvas pouch to the Everest Elite 750NC's slightly bulkier hard case. You can find over-ear headphones with more battery life, but at least the 650BTNC's rated 20 hours of battery life for music listening (with noise-canceling on) is up from the E65BTNC's 15 hours. There's a quick-charge feature that gives your 2 hours worth of juice from a 15-minute charge. Alas, the headphone charges via Micro USB not USB-C

These are great headphones don’t get me wrong, but for the price, they lack sufficiently in many categories. For 200$ headphones, personally I don’t think they sound as great as they should. They’re not horrible but even with the EQ in the app they still don’t reach the same sound quality as some much less expansive headphones I’ve had and used well. These headphones would not be for people looking for phenomenal audio but would be suitable for someone going to the gym or listening to music on a plane

He is very happy with them. My only concern was if they’d hold up over time so I bought the 3 yr replacement warranty from Amazon to be sure.

I contacted JBL support, and though I followed their recommended cleaning advice, the left earbud still won't charge, and the right earbud only charges sporadically. I plan to submit for a warranty replacement since my purchase falls within the year. I will update my review once that gets figured out. Save the box the earbuds come in!!
