Kailh BOX Switches vs Durock T1 Tactile Switches

Myself I have a Blackwidow X and Elite, as well as a Huntsman Mini but the decision to get Durgod Hades was one of the best spending decision of my typing life. Their CS is terrible, I heard, but the build quality and selection of switches may be worth it. (Though in retrospect I would have went with a Ducky who have much better CS, just in case I would need it for whatever reason.) I always thought that Razer mech and optical switches were nice but not until I tried some Kailh Box Jades with proper non-rattling lubed stabilizers -- my mind was blown

BOX Whites are an excellent switch at their price point, and are pretty close to being the best clicky switch available, given how uncompetitive the segment is. The main competition is Cherry's MX Blue and other BOX clickies which use more or less the same design. MX Blues sound cheap and rattly and feel very scratchy. BOX White's click bar design allows it to sound a lot better, while the BOX housing eliminates a lot of the rattle that MX Blues are known for

Picked up both these and the regular Durock T1 switches just to compare, and this version is a noticeable improvement. Great tactility and smoothness, but the price is where it kind of falls short. Once you start inching closer to the $1.00/switch range, it can be compared to other niche switches that do the same or better

2 - Replace keycaps with PBT (Keychron keycaps are ABS and not very good ABS either!! They start to get that ABS shine within a week)

In my opinion those are superior to T1s due to the much nicer sound and rounder tactile bump making it easier to type at speed as compared to a T1. Neopolitans are also cheaper on CanonKeys than what Amazon has these for (.70 a switch as compated to .80)
