Thanks to the low-profile keycaps and switches, this board is comfortable to use without a wrist rest, as you don't have to extend your wrists upwards to use it. Its thin profile is also nice if you want a board to carry around as it doesn't take up too much space. The full RGB backlighting illuminates the keys well, so you can see them in the dark, and you can even program some lighting effects directly on the board.

There is a learning curve and a fairly large difference from the magic style keyboards. The keys are also flat and have a little distance in between them so keep that in mind. There isn’t the usual concave dip in the keys. All in all, if its all about feel and typing experience for you, and you don’t like mechanical keyboards, go for something else

Are the keycaps interchangeable with Cherry keycaps (I've been told Gateron keys are Cherry clones...)?

So I had a choice between the SK631, the Keychron K1 and the G915 TKL. Since the other two weren't available in AZERTY I went with the latter. Needless to say, I am VERY pleased with it.

So just leave it plugged in right? Well yes but 2 things: the USB c connection isnt the most snug and did disconnect when testing, if I didn't deliberately push it in firmly. Second, the led charging indicator stays on green, even when maxed out, always. So it ruins the look to have the green led shining on the desk. You could put a tiny piece black electrical tape but still, not a good design decision

Which I don’t want either. But if you want an RGB backlighting you’re going to have to make some concessions.

I've considered using the K1 with the cable instead as it also goes to sleep every few minutes and takes some time to reconnect. Backlighting for the MX Keys is ok with it automatically enabling when it's dark, however, it doesn't work all the time.

Love to type on it. Bluetooth is nice connects quick and easy. Batttery will get entire workweek from it 40 hours. I got the light blue, nice weight to the key

It seem when I press top-down with right angle, I don't feel it but slightly off angle make additional frictions when I press it. I like the shape and profile but this is very different blue key. If you expect standard size blue key, this maybe quiet heavy (for me, it almost feel like typing black switch). Updated rating

If the key does not actually WORK, then the keyboard is a FAILURE. Apparently, they do not conform to the USB HID specification. Not worth any price.

I was disappointed with the quality of this keyboard. When I bought it, the switches and keycaps seemed okay, but when I put it on my desk and typed on it, it immediately felt unbalanced. Upon further inspection, I saw that the rubber feet were misaligned, and the aluminum body was bent so that the entire keyboard wobbled when you typed on it. I thought it was just a defective unit, so I ordered a replacement, which was even worse
