Marshall Stanmore II Voice vs Marshall Emberton

Not a great experience with this product. Connected to my phone's Bluetooth just fine, but would never pull up in the Marshall app to connect it to the wifi so Alexa could work. Reached out to Marshall customer service and the responded 5 days after the initial help request. Needless to say this has been returned to Amazon

The bass and treble controls make it possible to dial in your ideal sound signature. With the knobs set to midway, the Stanmore II Voice delivers powerful low frequency on tracks with intense sub-bass content, like The Knife's "Silent Shout." One notable difference between this speaker and the Stanmore II Bluetooth is that there's no distortion at top volumes on this track. That might seem impossible given the same drivers and amplifiers are being used, but this speaker has a slightly higher maximum sound pressure level of 107dB (as opposed to 101dB)

Very disappointed. Especially for the name and price tag. It does have great sound quality, connectivity is good and so far I haven’t had any issues. I dislike the guitar riffs it randomly tosses out

Is there an issue with the speaker? What is going on and what adjustments can we make to get the speaker and bass sounding nice? Appreciate the help.

I listen to classic rock and 80s metal so hearing bass and the faint cymbals clearly is awesome. But don't get this thinking it's gonna like pump an outdoor party. For my money, the soundcore motion boom is great for that. This speaker would be great for indoors

The built in Alexa doesn't work most of the time and the app and online manuals are totally worthless. All the app does is let you buy from their website or send you to frequently asked questions. Only about 10% of the people using the online questions checked the box saying they are helpful, so you think the company would adjust them to make them more helpful

.this has a been a huge frustration while using this speaker. If connectivity was more seemless, this would easily be a 5star speaker for me

Why do they say that the product has WIFI when it really does not, what a scam, the seller is not serious

Now speaking of powering this thing on, you have to hold down the power button for about three seconds before it actually turns on, which I just reall...

I would say its somewhere around 25-35 percent louder. In addition to louder, the base is so much more prevalent that the music is much more discernable even with a lot of people talking. It is by no means, blow you out of the water loud, but it is loud enough that I put it on my deck and walk over to my neighbors (150 feet away) I am still able to hear it clearly from his house. It has absolutely no more lag than Alexa, If I say “Alexa” with multiple devices in the room, the Marshall registers exactly the same speed

Any thought on something a little louder and more bass for group picnics? Would prefer something that is waterproof and loud enough for 20 people.
