  Really folks, can you make things a bit more adjustable.  I mean this pack has a rain cover, and lot of space for a 22 L bag and nice features. Just not fitting us women that are a bit fully around the middle.

 The weight in the bag helped me to make my decision on my purchase. This bag fit me like a glove. The trampoline back and straps are so comfortable. 

Great size for a day on the trail!

 Compared to my other two packs, this one's straps are extremely rough and uncomfortable, as well. I think maybe it's just not a fit for me, I'll be returning this one.

 The torso is too short, even with the straps adjusted to their highest point -- for a comfortable fit of the straps on my shoulders the hip belt sits in the middle of my waist! I agree with another reviewer that the magnetic chest strap/combination hydration magnet is not good in practice either. The magnetic enclosure is very awkward to use compared to a standard clasp. Compared to my other two packs, this one's straps are extremely rough and uncomfortable, as well. I think maybe it's just not a fit for me, I'll be returning this one

 So that's one of the main things that people really like. like it also does have a chest harness here so this it really stabilizes it to your body. Also has the whistle. whoa that was loud does have a whistle and it does come with see Osprey Almighty guarantee since 1974 if you have a backpack from 1974 up to yesterday, they will repair it or replace it

 That's very helpful to keep I Know it's not going to fall out but you do not want to lose your water. so I think Osprey could have done a better job making that mesh panel go there. So the main compartment has checked this out. It has a computer laptop for a 13-inch laptop or electronic eye iPad or some kind of electronic pad can slip in there or whatever you want put in there if you don't carry your your your iPad it does come with the zippered looped zippered handles

 see how they're cut like at this angle. That's so you can reach back and pull your water bottle out. But it turns out the water bottles have a hard time staying inside there so it does work well with like a regular water bottle like that 12 ounce water bottle. and you put the compression strap because it's small enough but you would rather have your regular water bottle when you're hiking

Osprey DAYLITE Day Pack Review/ Waterfall Hike!

 Let'S just start with the carry here, so you have this really dense foam all across the back and shoulder strap here, we'll just unbuckle this and see the whole thing yeah. This is all the same foam here. Just super thick super dense. Obviously, as you can see, there's no mesh or anything

 So if you are taking this on a hike or anything, you can get a little bit more like sweaty back and the foam can kind of absorb that and kind of hold a little bit of moisture which isn't ideal. But it's not the worst thing. But mesh is typically helps out with that a little bit more with air flow, but they opted for padding on this one. Just so you have a more comfortable carry but yeah

 So you can just see it's super thick super dense. So you know if that trade-off is worth it to you, then by all means. This is a great option here and then the shoulder strap obviously is very adjustable, bring it up as tight or as loose as you need it, and if you just need to quick, take it off, you can just undo that and it clips in. We do like that this buckle is kind of hidden here

 You know. Adventure type carry but also does not stick out so much that you can use it in the city or for urban travel. Let'S just start with the carry here, so you have this really dense foam all across the back and shoulder strap here, we'll just unbuckle this and see the whole thing yeah. Osprey Daylite Shoulder Sling Review (2 Weeks of Use)

 I think the daypack included with the Farpoint 70 was a more efficient design than the Daylite - shoulder strap wise. After using my Daylite up to this point - I now realize the Hikelite 18 is probably more of what I want/was looking for. Oh well, you live and you learn - I know my neck would appreciate it more lol.

I've used my Daylite for the past 6 months extensively - day hiking at least 5 times a month - I'm an avid explorer/hiker and photographer here in Florida. We'll start with the negatives first: Poor shoulder strap design makes the strap dig into the back of my neck - I've noticed this is one of the few packs designed like this in Osprey's line. It makes the pack hard to wear. The side mesh pockets are shallow and water bottles/Nalgenes/Platypus come tumbling out if you lean over too much - super annoying on trail

After 6 months heavy use....

 The biggest pros of this bag is it's the perfect size for one person. It's pretty good for two people, but for one person it is the perfect size. 13 liters for a day pack is more than enough things you need to carry jackets, water, battery packs, maps, things like that. The side mesh pockets are perfect for a medium sized umbrella because you can actually took you under the top webbing and then put it in

 Okay, that's pretty much all the cons of this bag. like I say it is a pretty good bag so we're going to go over the pros. The biggest pros of this bag is it's the perfect size for one person. It's pretty good for two people, but for one person it is the perfect size

Osprey Daylite 13L Backpack - Post Trip Review

 Other models I'd consider, similarly sized with solid laptop storage, are the GoRuck GR1 (both the 21L and 26L version will fit a 16" MacBook Pro or similar) and the Tom Bihn Synik 30 (thicker laptops might not fit). The Osprey Daylite 26+6 has a decent laptop sleeve with a quick-access zipper but not a separate padded compartment like I'd prefer.

Should I be looking at something in the 20L or 28L space? The only two that I’ve really looked into so far are Aer Travel Pack 3 Small and Aer Flight Pack.

I’m looking for a bag for commuting + under seat on airplanes. What fits both criteria best?

 However, when I cinch the shoulder straps up to where I want the pack to ride, the "handle" between the shoulder straps rubs against the back of my neck and is really uncomfortable. I end up loosening the shoulder straps and letting the back flop around a little to avoid this. Gave it to hubby to try and he had the same complaint.

Want to love this pack, but can't

Well like several others here I have to comment and the woefully inadequate side pockets. They are 2 shallow and angled so water bottles just keep falling out. I've taken to using the side buckets and threading them through the carry handle of my flask just to keep it from falling out on the trail. I also miss the elastic loops that used to be on the front of the previous version

Please fix the side pockets
