 So I figured I'd switch to the F-402 which seemed like it was made completely out of thicker steel than the F-301. It was, and it did work great for about a year, but then it broke and found out that under the rubberized grip the pen was actually plastic there. So now I'm going with the F-701, which seems to be made fully out of steel, no plastic pieces. After my first few weeks using it, I've found it to be every bit of what I've come to expect out of zebra

Not very happy I just bought this pan and it was already out of ink the cartridge that goes in the ink pen is very small and runs out quickly not good project had to replace my ink cartridge already

 Honestly nothing special about this pen than the fact that you get a comfortable durable pen for the price point.  I did buy some space pen refills for layer once the original ink cartridge is empty. In order to make the space pen fit all you have to do is remove a little plastic piece in the tip of the pen.

 I have to imagine this machined stainless steel pen is more resistant to bending than the plastics, and stronger than either the metal Space or the metal RiteRain bullet.  - Great Knurling.  Fine, sharp knurl around the area where your fingers naturally fall, near the writing end of the pen. There probably is a consideration here
