 It's a weak point for no other reason than to disallow other refills 3rd, mostly a personal issue, the knurling is too shallow and is almost just decorative, at times, it actually feels more slippery than the smooth barrel  I would overlook any of the other two problems if one didnt exist the weight is nice and heavy, 33-35g ish, balance is good in my opinion, 2-3mm from center biased to the rear. The ink is a nice one, but its a gel pen, and pretty garbage at writing on anything that isnt totally dry and mostly smooth. its a nice pen, but buy a f701 and paint n bake or duracote that instead

Almost Perfect Pen

I was looking for a nice high-quality metal pen that I could carry with me every day. The idea was that if it is metal it will be robust enough for my rough daily use. I use pens very frequently, so I was looking for one I could clip in my pocket next to my multi-tool to always have on me.  I really liked this pen - and used it long enough to go through the first tube of ink

How could Zebra fail like this?

The pen is very high quality, especially for the price. Solid weight but well balanced. Nice soft click and grip is good. It is a worthy competitor to the Rotring Rapid Pro (which costs a lot more)
