With Switch bluetooth a few months old, how has everyone's experience been? Are there any recommended earbuds that work particularly well? Ideally for those on a budget.

For over the ear headphones, I've been using Skull Candy Crushers ANC. Just a fantastic pair of headphones in general, no low latency mode though

Much dimmer key light and lightweight/flimsy feel compared to my mechanical keyboard

. I ordered a set of 40A and 80A orings, and put the 40A on first, then the 80A, and after doing that, I felt that the tactile feedback seemed good and the spacebar sound was acceptably dampened. At this point, I replaced my MAX Blackbird Tenkeyless with my quieted Razer Huntsman

You'll need to turn this feature on each time you take the buds out of the case

I use this For gaming PVP/PVE type stuff. It did not take me to long to get the muscle memory down for the lighter pressure I need to use first time users will be slamming the key too hard guarantee, that's why you see loud keyboard comments. I am now not wondering if I made the mechanical switch anymore like I was with other keyboards, this mean more confident keystrokes when in the heat of battle less fatigue. One thing I have noticed on W,D,A and spacebar keys that even if not pressed, if the key is pressured up, right or left it can activate, be careful on cliff sides

Game

Razer did the Razer thing and put RGB lighting on its latest earbuds

Gaming mode on the Hammerheads cuts audio latency down to 60ms, which is enough to avoid any sync issues that could quickly pull you out of the action. But when it’s enabled, you’ll need to stay closer to your device than normal for optimal performance; Razer recommends keeping within two feet. The buds have Bluetooth 5.2 and didn’t exhibit any problematic cutouts or other bugs in my time testing them so far

Great keyboard for gaming

I’ve always wanted to give myself the option to game on a proper keyboard so that I wouldn’t have to switch all the time, but a keypad is how I started and I’m really used to playing on that. That’s the reason I bought this though, because I need a new keyboard and also, I wanted to try a gaming keyboard and see how I felt.

Performance

Good quality sound with some interesting and almost poor design choices.

There are nice highs and solid bass. They aren't as bassy as some might prefer but the sound quality is definitely not lacking. Very easy and intuitive pairing compared to some. You don't have to pair each earbud or do any janky swapping to use only one earbud at a time, you just open the case up, pair them and then you're good to go for either side

The brightness is way too light at full tilt.

In the end, my four star rating is for the fact that it is a good keyboard for those that light very sensitive keys, which I absolutely do not and wish I could adjust these, and I have taken away a star for the lighting being inconsistent and not bright enough to match the other components in my case.

Great price, decent sound quality, horrible microphone

Haven't tried it yet personally so jury is still out. Dislikes: - Plastic for the case and earbuds is below typical Razer quality. Looks cheap, feels cheap. I expected at least the charging case to be anodized aluminum

Interesting for sure!

For me, this also means that I am unable to type well with this keyboard. This is somewhat hinder some for me as well, since occasionally I have a need to do work from home and this prevents me to type comfortably.

Controller

I currently own Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro (not the standart one's) and i like them overall, but i don't use their gaming mode because i don't play games and the battery life is a little poor. They do sound very good though, i have made an equalizer specifically for them and they sound fantastic.

Brand new straight out the box - is this risking a voided warranty if I don’t send it back? I popped it back in already, but clearly it’s been opened before.

I ended up switching it up, and went with the Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition controller, well over 2 years ago, and it is phenomenal in comparison. No peeling grips, haven't had any drifting issues, and the best part is that it's wired so no more batteries. 10/10

Price Point

Great to get, at a discount

A great feature that makes this worth its band is the gaming mode. It does help create a low-latency mode and assists in giving audio at a precise moment that does not give me a chance to miss a footstep a second late. Even the mic is pretty well clear compared to regular mics that I have used before. In summary, I think this is something to consider around a price of $60

Is this normal? Bought the Kraken X in October on Amazon and the headband has started cracking to the point of almost breaking. Razer's warranty won't cover it because they say it's due to abuse, but also that it's normal wear and tear and minor cosmetic damage.

Stop buying headphones from gaming companies. Sure there are a handful that are decent but a cheap pair of normal headphones with a Modmic (or other microphone) will far outlast and have much better audio quality than anything Razer/Corsair/Astro will ever have.

These are nicely priced and Love the fit

I contacted them because the case wouldn't hold a charge and told them it been dropped several times. They asked for who I bought it from and information on the purchase order and the serial number. I gave them all the info and they happily took in my earbuds and gave me a replacement. Fantastic service but always be patient with customer service

Sounds about right. Trying to get rid of my huntsman tournament edition because that was the worst 150 bucks I've spent in my life.

Player Experience

Tremendous Value for Sale Price

Even if they were not on sale at $100, I would probably still bought them if I had the information then that I have now. When they have any kind of sale, if you're interested, I would get them. I am a Razer user, so please note that my review might come off a bit bias. I have used their keyboards, mice, mouse pads, and gaming headsets, as well as owning a pair of these in the corded version, plus the Razer Phone 2

Don't expect to customize anything if you own a Mac

They have completely given up on MacOS software since it most likely makes up a small percentage of their customer base. The cost of having a MacOS developers apparently outweigh the customers experience, and for that, I would NOT recommend this keyboard if you are planning to use it on a MacOS. There are boards out there that have similar build quality AND have software/hardware that allows you to customize your gear. It's upsetting that Razer has completely given up on updating MacOs
