I consider this an all in one pack, it has a lot of padding to aid in the comfort. Definitely, helps when you have light loads, you can barely feel it. I'll have to come back with another review once I place a medium/heavier load. Also, it appears to withstand at least light rain

One other thing for tall people only. If you are tall with a long torso some adjustable bags will still not fit. Rest assured this one fit me just fine, so unless you are significantly taller than 6'3 you should be good.

It seems less practical for use in circumstances where you might need to periodically access contents of the main pack, such as in a day or overnight hike. There is only one large U-shaped zipper to access the main compartment of the main pack, and when the daypack is clipped on it obstructs the use of this zipper.

I had a geology field camp for my school and I needed a pack for everything when we had to go on some vigorous hikes and this came in handy. It can fit a decent amount of stuff and not feel too heavy because elf the weight distribution. However, there are two things I noticed. I’m disappointed that the side pockets weren’t bigger for my big water bottle

The backpack has many compartments and it has been through some stuff. The backpack is like new, and it comes with some crazy features! The storage space is insane as well, there is so much space to put things, I often don't have enough things to put inside the backpack. The included rain cover (at the bottom of the backpack) is very helpful. Love the backpack, the price is great, the quality is great

It has plenty of pockets and storage. The main pocket is large and has a place to hand a water bladder. There are plenty of little storage places around the pack to put all the gear I would need for most outings. I like the way it fit and it was easy to adjust to fit my shoulders and waist
