Sound Quality

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live

(1/3)

With three total beamforming mics — two on the exterior and one inside — the Galaxy Buds Live have performed just fine during my Zoom meetings and voice calls. Samsung says they also have a “voice pickup unit” in the hardware for improved speech detection. You can use either bud independently while the other is charging in the case.

Shure Aonic 50

(1/5)

Orchestral tracks, like the opening scene from John Adams’ The Gospel According to the Other Mary, are bright and beautiful through the Aonic 50. The lower-register instrumentation plays its anchoring role and never threatens the balance of the mix, while the higher-register brass, strings, and vocals are delivered with excellent detail.

Fit

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live

(1/1)

If you’re worried about bass, don’t be. So long as they’re in your ears right, the Buds Live can kick out plenty of oomph on the bottom end. These sound excellent and just what I’d hoped for considering the $170 price.

Shure Aonic 50

(1/1)

I love this product I have always used shure for live production But these headphones sold me I had the Bose q35 and the 700 The sound quality is good but it’s unlike share The quality build is sturdy and durable I like how they hug your head unlike Bose. They are just the right amount of head pressure and room for ears Noise cancellation is great The switch doesn’t tell you what setting you’re on so it doesn’t interrupt music I can link my iPhone and iMac simultaneously pause and listen to either platform. Presentation to unbox product was exhilarating No complications Bluetooth is quick and simple Doesn’t depend on an app. Bluetooth 5 is wonderful and gives me 30ft Over all it’s a very comfortable rig And it’s everything I wanted and I am super happy with this product

Battery Life

Shure Aonic 50

(1/3)

Shure estimates battery life to be up to 20 hours, but your results will vary with your volume levels and your mix of ANC usage.

Durability

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live

(1/1)

i grew up in the 1970's and 1980's. i have had and worn more earphone types through the nearly 50 years than i can even count! these are by far the best i have ever owned and worn! the sound is dynamic! i love the ability to noise cancel! most inner ear earphones hurt my ears after 15 or 20 min of wearing them i can leave these in for hours without pain or discomfort!

Shure Aonic 50

(1/1)

One thing these excel at is being sturdy and secure on my head/neck. The hinges, which are always a weak point on headphones that pivot, are exceptionally well made. If only Shure would partner with the competition we could have the best of both worlds. I like these enough to keep them in my quiet home office but I've got a different pair that I take with me to noisy environments
