 The ink itself is at least as good as the stock Retro 51 refill. This will be my refill of choice for the Tornado as long as I can find it.

 The stock Retro 51 refill is also made by Schmidt and produces a medium line which is just a bit wide for my taste, though the ink and delivery are fantastic. The short P8126 fits exactly and gives me the finer line that I was looking for without any change to the smoothness of the delievery. The ink itself is at least as good as the stock Retro 51 refill. This will be my refill of choice for the Tornado as long as I can find it

I was shopping on Amazon for Schmidt 8126 MINI refills-found them fast, but when Amazon listed “other sellers” and a lower price, I ordered these. I only gave the 3 star rating to grab attention & educate others to prevent the same disappointment. These do not fit “mini” pens. Hi, I'm relatively new to fancy pens and stuff. I want to get a nice pen, but I don't have enough spending money to really try them out. So I need a little help choosing a pen.

I know I don't want a regular ballpoint and I know I like thinner and smoother inks, but that's kind of it. I'm thinking of getting a fountain pen or a rollerball, but I'm a little worried that the ink will bleed through the paper. The biggest thing for me is making sure the ink isn't visible on the other side of the paper.

The kind of paper I use is pretty standard (think notebook paper, maybe slightly thicker) and I don't know if the ink will bleed through too much with a fountain pen. I currently use a gel pen and it's slightly visible on the other side, but it doesn't bleed too much. 

I prefer thinner tipped pens because I write small and I don't like it when my lines are too thick and my letters get all slurred. I know this can affect how much the ink bleeds through, but I don't really have the option to test out a pen so I want to make sure I get the right one first or second try.

So what do you guys think? Could I get a fountain pen, or would the ink be too watery and make it so I can see the lines on the other side of the page? Thanks so much, sorry this is a long post.
