 The ink itself is at least as good as the stock Retro 51 refill. This will be my refill of choice for the Tornado as long as I can find it.

 The stock Retro 51 refill is also made by Schmidt and produces a medium line which is just a bit wide for my taste, though the ink and delivery are fantastic. The short P8126 fits exactly and gives me the finer line that I was looking for without any change to the smoothness of the delievery. The ink itself is at least as good as the stock Retro 51 refill. I was shopping on Amazon for Schmidt 8126 MINI refills-found them fast, but when Amazon listed “other sellers” and a lower price, I ordered these. After 2 months in a cast I finally got to try the Uni Ball Vision Elite roller pen.  I am a writer  an extreme note taker as well I serve part time . So when you come across a good pen you hang on to it.

  The only ready I gave this 4 stars is because,  being a writer that tends to hold a pen firmly, I do wish there was a cushion typed area around the area that your middle finger tends to get pushed against.   Other than that, this pen is definitely one I would purchase time and time again.
